Irrational Games, the studio that created Bioshock. The head guy dissolved it and is starting a new studio with a few core people because he felt it had gotten too large or somesuch.

I doubt it affects the sales much though since 2K is the publisher and decides the pricing.

If you like Civ V, BNW is definitely worth it.

Edit: On Irrational Games...

Irrational Games, the studio that makes BioShock, is shutting down. BioShock creator Ken Levine said today that he plans to move on to smaller, narrative-heavy games that will be released digitally.

Levine, who ran Irrational, announced the news on the Irrational Games website today, noting that he'll be starting "a smaller, more entrepreneurial endeavor at Take-Two" and laying off all but 15 people.

"While I'm deeply proud of what we've accomplished together, my passion has turned to making a different kind of game than we've done before," Levine wrote. "To meet the challenge ahead, I need to refocus my energy on a smaller team with a flatter structure and a more direct relationship with gamers. In many ways, it will be a return to how we started: a small team making games for the core gaming audience."

It seems some devs went to a new studio, Rosebud Games...

Rosebud Games is a new studio that have talented employees from a lot of different studios who have worked on a huge portfolio of games, including BioShock, The Witcher, and F.E.A.R.

Their first game, Death in Candlewood, is a first person shooter. But don't despair just yet! We're told it won't be our average FPS - this is being sold as an open world psychological shooter that is set in 1940s America and will tell the story of love between the living and the dead.

I'm not understanding this. What Studio is gone?

Irrational games, the studio that made the first and third Bioshock games. Ken Levine, the guy in charge, decided to kill the studio and create a new smaller one with only about a dozen people. Why, I have no idea, but he seemed to think putting a bunch of people out of work was a good career move for him.

Anyway, I snagged that season pass for BI, that's the cheapest it's likely to be until probably Christmas, I do want to play the Burial at Sea bits.

Turns out BNW is for sale on GMG as well. For 75% off. But GMG also has their 20% off coupon which will stack with BNW, but only if you buy something else with it. GMG recently put a 10 dollar minimum purchase on their coupons. Seems pretty standard all the time now.

So, if there is something else you want at the moment on GMG, you can get Civ V, BNW for 6 dollars.

Looking around I see that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Ultimate Sith Edition is on sale for 80% off ($3.99).

I think today is the last day, so not much longer. It'll be at 75% on Tuesday during that Gamer Agent sale.

Assassin's Creed sale at Amazon:

Assassin's Creed III [Steam] - $5.00 (75% off)
Assassin's Creed III: Season Pass [Steam] - $7.50 (75% off)
Assassin's Creed III [Uplay] - $5.00 (75% off)
Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut Edition [Download] - $5.00 (75% off)
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood [Download] - $5.00 (75% off)
Assassin's Creed: Revelations [Download] - $5.00 (75% off)

Five bucks is the cheapest AC3 has been that I'm aware of. Amusing that the Season Pass is more expensive than it even with both at 75% off.

Wasn't that game multiplayer only, and is anyone still playing it?

Ok, this is pretty funny, if a bit scary.

Steam community was "hacked" through some exploit, and Call of Duty Black Ops 2 was renamed to "Valve please reset partner logins because heartbleed".

http://steamcommunity.com/app/202970/discussions/0/

Heartbleed was apparently the name of the exploit...

Edit:
Seems to have been corrected already.

Apparently it was some exploit that allowed people to intercept and decrypt log in and out requests from various Steam logins (like those trading sites) or something like that...

No murder. At least not on the ending I got. Not sure if there are different endings, but there really weren't that many choices I could make, so I doubt there would be much different...

As I was writing this the credits ended. OHMYGODIHAVENOEYES!
