oh how i love amnesia. do what they say: play it in total darkness with the headphones turned up just a bit too much.

ai war fleet command was a $5 lesson in how i am completely unable to function within an rts game. i'd been working through the tutorial in nightly 30 minute chunks, forgetting previous nights' lessons, when they started sending ships through my wormholes. think i could remember how to put my ships on auto-defend? no. think i could find it looking through 15 pages of keybinds? nope. think they actually pause the game while you're frantically reading through tabs and tabs of arcane map manipulation controls? nuh-uh. the whole frigging time i had to listen to those ships blowing up my harvesters. it's been a looong time since i flipped out and wanted to throw my mouse.

In your defense, AI War is one of the most complicated RTS games out there.

ME is a story I just had to buy a 360 for. The fact that it was later released on the PC chaps my *** a little bit, but oh well.

So the fact that ME2 was released on PS3 doesn't bother you at all?

Why should it? I already had a PC, so the only reason to buy the 360 was for ME1. Buying the 360 and then them releasing for PC is what chaps my ***.

If for some reason you don't have Fallout 3, ten dollars for the GOTY edition is insane. They charged ten bucks just for one DLC a year ago. Get on that one if you don't have it. The ME and ME2 bundle is also a great deal. I've already got them all for 360 already, but if I didn't I wouldn't hesitate a second to pick these up.

An update on my Fallout: New Vegas shaky camera, for the 0 of you who cared:

It's apparently related to my trackpoint, and there's nothing I can do about it. I am relegated to playing the whole game as if my character had a caffeine overdose, like Tweak from South Park.

Smiley: frown

And before you suggest anything, I love my trackpoint so much that I'm going to deal with it, instead of switching to a USB mouse or joystick.

Hell, I have FO3, no DLC for the 360 and I'm even debating to pick this up... it doesn't help that I've already bought too much from this Summer Sale already.

I went ahead and bought FO3 simply because I'm missing 2 or 3 of the DLCs for 360.

The only thing that bugs me about Amnesia is that Daniel will not stop sniveling for one second.

But I can't really complain. I would likely do the same thing if I were in his position.

I should clarify: the trackpoint is fine, it's just that New Vegas doesn't play nice with it, for whatever reason. I think I'll blame the developer, considering all the other bugs that the game is purported to have. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't set the trackpoint integration up properly.

Okay, 15 minutes into Fallout: New Vegas, and I'm damned near fed up with this game. It's easily the glitchiest thing I've ever played.

Two starter quests in, and I've already had the game freeze (negating a quest), had invisible enemies shooting me, and gotten stuck in a wall.

So far, this wasn't worth the $15 I paid for it. How the **** could it take such a step down from Fallout 3??

I caved and bought the Assassin's Creed package when the entire thing was on sale...next thing I knew, it was Friday (yesterday). :D

The beggars in AC must be one of THE most annoying things ever. THEY MUST DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH.

At least you can shut the bards up in AC2 by running into them to make them drop their lute...

Bleh, **** not having a job! I'm missing so many good deals. Portal 2 for $24.99 would be awesome. I played the first Portal not more than a month or 2 ago and loved it.

I'll wait on Portal 2. Come Christmas it'll be down to ten or less. It's supposed to be fairly good, but almost as short as the original. I'm not paying 25 dollars for 4 to 8 hours of content.

It is pretty short, and not quite as good as the first, though I'm not surprised or complaining about that. The only reason I want to buy it at this point is to try out the co-op mode, but I can wait for the Christmas sale, too.

Terraria for 2.49 only lasted about 7 hours or so. It's back up to 4.99, 50% off instead of 75% off.

Still almost free, but not quite as free as before.

Even if Portal 2 proves short or whatever, I got so many great deals this week that I can afford to "splurge" on a mere 50% off and play something less than three years old Smiley: laugh

Hey guys that bought Portal 2, let me know when you plan to do online Co-Op. I still need one more person for the "Friend List with Benefits" achievement, and someone to do the "Complete 3 Max Velocity Courses in under 60 seconds each" achievement.
