I've seen all of the weapon types for Guild Wars 2 and I am wondering why there is no two handed axe. I read Ghosts of Ascalon and Gullik used a two handed axe, I was inspired to make a Norn Warrior from him and I wanted to use the axe as my weapon. Does anybody know if it will be implemented or not?
Unless one of the other two unreleased classes can wield one, no. Warrior was the best shot for us to have one IMO.
Two handed axes should be implemented in every MMO.

I want the next class to be a Mesmer with a whip. Or a Flail, how awesome would that be?
