Just got to say, even though its been said before, that if you have any interest in platformers or old school hard games, you owe it to yourself to get super meat boy, it really is a perfect platformer.

but not if you are a controller thrower. Cuz you will die...a lot. If you are/were someone who got mad while playing old Mario 1-3 games, Super Meat boy may not be for you.

Question:
Can you play Steam games while not being online? My brother would like to play a few of the games I've bought on his comp, but I don't know if that would cause some kind of issue if I'm signed in o.O?

As long as the game does not require constant check-in to Steam to keep playing you can have one person start a game on their machine, then long in on yours to start another.

I think if you add a desktop shortcut to the game when you install it, you can get to the game through that without being signed in to Steam.

But don't quote me on that.

If you picked up the Humble Bundle, this is one of the games you get. I haven't played it yet, but it looks interesting.

Also, KOTOR = bought. I never played it and for 2.50, hell, why not?

Anyone played Section 8 before? I'm considering it, but the reviews are so-so.

ME 2 DLC are only 200 points each on Live right now. That's about 7.50 for all three.

The Ball is on sale today for $5. From the trailer it looks like Half Life 2 (if you were forced to carry a Companion Cube with you the whole game) meets Indiana Jones.

Other deals were meh except for Dead Space for $6.80, if you didn't get it already.

AMnesia: The Dark Decent is is on sale for $6.80, so I picked it up.

I like it when movies or games scare me, but as a horror buff since an early age very few things do.

There are no weapons, so you have to run & hide from everything. While hiding in the dark, you go insane. While looking at the plethora of messed up stuff (including the things that want to eat you), you also go insane. It seems to be inspired by Lovecraft as well.

This game is scary as ****, kind of challenging, & full of awesome. Get it.

I put in about 80 hours and never finished the main story. It was a good enough game, but it got too damn repetitive.

Same here, though in my case add in about 10 hours of mucking around with addons. However, can't say it was wasted money, considering that was nearly 100 hours of solid gameplay before I put it down. Never really got bored, either. Just not enough to make me pick the game back up after I played something else.
