For those who are unaware, Sabre Wolf and I (along with Izari who I haven't yet seen over here at GuildFans) run a podcast dedicated to all the news of Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2. It is hosted by GuildMag, and on the podcast we insert our personal views and opinions on a number of topics that pertain to the Guild Wars Universe. Also recently, we have acquired a live chat server, so you can ask us questions, give us feedback, and just chat with us while we record the show live. So if this intrigues you, then I encourage you to read further.
November 18, 2010-The GuildMag Podcast goes LIVE again, tonight at 9 PM EST | 21:00 (-5 GMT). Community choir is done for the semester, so I'll try to keep the times consistent from now on xD.
Topics of discussion are "When it's Ready" blogpost, GuildFans interview with Eric Flannum, stealth in GW2 (called it :D), and Violence in Video Games (oh boy)
Yeah, it's a short show, because we're all so cozy and getting ready for Thanksgiving!

You read that title correctly. The Podcast team scored a sweet interview with Isaiah Cartwright and Jon Peters (and who knows who else!) from Arenanet! We have a whole bunch of questions lined up related to the Guardian and general game mechanics, with a few laughs at the end. Sadly, Arenanet couldn’t meet our crazy schedules to be on the Live Chat, but we will have our recorded interview posted on our usual Thursday night for all the fans to enjoy!

The Guardian looks to be quite a force in the grouping dynamic of Guild Wars 2. However, what will the Guardian have to offer in the endgame? Is he going to be pigeonholed into either a support or tanking role and nothing else, or will there be options for the player to explore even in the endgame?
With all the innovations of Guild Wars 2, some of the player base is confused why Arenanet would go with the traditional attribute system for character development. Did you try other systems that were ineffective, or can you describe what makes this attribute system different from the genre standard?

I just received a call from Malchior. Apparently none of the members of GuildMag that are at PAX East can get any sort of internet access. They're trying to find a way to get connected, but as far as it currently stands, the live show will be canceled until further notice.
