Rant time.

The redesign is godawful ugly. The menus don't transition smoothly anymore, and the white background is just too damn bright. I'm really nissing the gray, it was much easier on the eyes. The worst bit though, is that the update added nothing whatsoever of value to me. I don't give a **** about ESPN, and I'm never going to buy a Kinect. All this update did for me was ruin the user interface, I think I'll be sticking to my PS3 from now on for any games available on both systems.

I hate the colour scheme too. Hopefully they'll add an option to change it.

If you're in a dark room (e.g. watching a movie) then the white screen is almost blinding...

Hmm... good thing I don't have Xbox Live anymore. It can never update if it's never connected to the internet.

Thankfully, the update doesn't affect the games, so I'm good.

Really? I've found the exact opposite; the things I do on my 360 that aren't games are much smoother, and Netflix is much better now.

The addition of ESPN3 is also pretty welcome. Much rather watch sports on my TV with my 360 than have to hook up my PC to my TV.

Haha, just found this thread. My son turned on our Xbox the other day, it said there was an update so he clicked ok and he sounded like a lot of you. "Moooooommmmm....!!!! What's wrong with the 36000000??? I dun like itttt!" (whining, of course). Guess no one likes the new changes.

I haven't really had to deal with it yet, since I mostly just use our Xbox to watch Netflix.
