AoC Questions. pls help me out.Follow

Hello to anyone that may read this.


This AoC forum seems deserted but still going to ask you guys afew questions. hope someone hears me. and thanks in advance.

I may be making a mistake growing interest in AoC since I read all these posts of how the game lost most of its players. But I left Archlord game for Aion and now about to leave Aion too.

Archlord kept me entertained thanks to its sieges but when Aion came out I gave away my account. Aion was suppossed to be the mother of all MMOs and it delieved in most ways, except my most important. Aion sieges suck big time.

So I started shopping for exciting sieges MMOs. I've read and seen about Darkfall, AoC and few others. AoC of all catches my eye the most. and I read they're awating a new expansion with lots of new content.

Therefore I am seeking your assistance to fill several blanks about AoC I can't seem to find answers for. Here are some questions. pls answer as many as you want/can. thanks very very much.


1. I want siege. are sieges fun and how often do sieges take place?

2. Is there auto heal for solo players or must I seek healers for hours?

3. If potions can be used to heal do they have cooldowns?

4. Is the game biased towards casters/rangers over melee?

5. what are the average sieges made of in numbers, archlord was like 90 vs 90.

6. During large scale sieges does the lag make the game unplayable as in Aion?

7. What are the top 2 melee siege characters? I dont really like playing ranger/casters.

8. What are the top 2 one-vs-one characters? I love pk.

9. How viable is solo play/grind? I work a nonset schedule to have a static party.

10. Can any class wear any armor? I love how the new armors look in the expansion RoG.

11. I read only Conqueror, Barbarian and Assassin can dual wield. which is the best pvpers of the 3?

12. Is the game's nudity out of control? too much nudity would ruin it for me.

13. Are potions crucial in pvp?

14. Whos the top tank class? & who's the top DPS class?

15. Any other points I am missing or I should know about?




I read the game officials fixxed the memory leaks and other bugs. and with the expansion coming soon I feel so tempted to try this awesome looking MMO. Please give me your most honest opinions. I appreciate your inputs greatly. Thanks much.
