ZAM Plugin for LOTRO/Accuracy of Online DBFollow

#1 Oct 13 2010 at 6:58 AM Rating: Decent
I've been a little appalled at the lack of accuracy on this site (or really, any lotro information site) considering the game has been out for years. Looking for recipe or skill information is a bear and a good bit of time isn't correct (eg, Heavy Quilted tailor items are at level 18 in game, allakhazam shows them at 10, with little to no source information).

Now that LOTRO is allowing addons/plugins will ZAM be implementing a plugin/client for the lotro site like they offer on the wowhead site to contribute to the accuracy of the database?

What other things can I do to help with improving the online data?

As I understand it, Turbine specifically excluded the LUA functions that would have allowed creation of a data collector plugin. Believe us, the moment LUA went live we asked our devs for a plugin and that was the reply we got.

That said, Instigator, myself and those of us admins that play this game do the best we can to collect accurate information. If you see something wrong, please use the Send a correction link to let us know!
