I'll pass. Those stupid little robots are too damn annoying to deserve their own DLC.

But you get to shoot them this time!

I'm downloading it as we speak. I would've gotten it yesterday, but Direct2Drive didn't have it until today. :D

Finished the DLC last night, it's not as good, game changing, or nearly as long as Knoxx, but still worth the 10$ IMO. I can't decide if they got new voice actors for Marcus and Tannis, but they seem slightly different than before. It's also nice to see some sort of resolution to the vanilla ending content.

Also, a conversation right before the final boss battles hints at more borderlands to come, and Randy Pitchford said in an interview that they would keep making content as long as players kept buying it, but apparently there was some subtitle on the steam version saying it would be the last one? Not sure which to believe. I know they have their hands full atm with DN:F, but there is a confirmed (free) difficulty patch/lv cap increase sometime later in October too.

Them being annoying makes it all the more fun to torture and dismember them! :D

Does anyone have any suggestions about dealing with those Hyperion soldiers? The only thing that seems to work is repeated headshots, which is difficult when there's a half-dozen of them hurling grenades and shooting at you ... With the Crimson Lance, a good caustic weapon did wonders, but the Hyperion guys don't seem to have any weaknesses like that. Suggestions?

Also, how many stages is Tannis' "get me Claptrap parts for my insane scheme" quest-chain? Is it as epic as the "BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAINS" quest-line from Zombie Island?

Also, Cluck-Trap... WTF?

Not long after Borderlands' release I read that Gearbox had registered the name "Borderworlds." It's possible the Borderlands game itself won't have any more expansions, but that they'll continue it in a series of games.

Here's the article.
Here's another, a tiny bit more in-depth.

Considering how popular Borderlands seems to be, I think a sequel is inevitable. And it'd be nice to get off of Pandora and explore some of the other planets that are hinted at occasionally throughout the game.

Caustic seemed to be working pretty well for me (I'm pretty sure they're "armored"), but a "gun crazy" head shot with a 1100 dmg defiler works pretty well on most stuff lol

5 -> 42 -> 75 -> 100 -> 150

The factory and dump are good places to get the final two completed.

Thing is, with the Crimson Lance, I noticed a significant difference when using caustic, as in going from 10+ shots for a kill to 1-3. I haven't noticed anything like that for any elemental weapon I've used against Hyperion soldiers. I've tried shock, explosive, fire, and caustic, and not noticed any real difference. I've actually had better luck with non-elemental revolvers thanks to Trespass. They're the only enemy I'm having any problems with so far (I'm not very far in yet; still on the second part of "Operation Trap Claptrap Trap"), and I guess I'm hoping for a silver bullet. :)

Good to know. Are the rewards worthwhile?

According to Steam and Gamestop they are releasing a GOTY edition of Borderlands with all 4 DLCs included. This normally means the end of additonal content for a game, just look at the original Half Life and Fallout 3.
