Pokemon Heartgold and SoulsilverFollow

#1 Aug 04 2010 at 10:43 AM Rating: Good
Because of some guy at work that corrupted me, I bought myself Pokemon Heartgold, since he has Soulsilver.

I am, however, looking for friends which can trade Pokemons or have thematic battles with.

I suppose I could try and get my WiFi working, but I probably won't until monday. If you can wait that long, I'll be friends. I have Soul Silver. Been a good while since I've played it, though.

I have Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Pearl Diamond and Platinum, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Red Blue and Yellow versions.

I don't have much progress on Heart Gold or Soul Silver yet, and I started a new game on Platinum after my wife took interest to Pokémon about a week ago and started playing Pearl version.

My friend code for Platinum is:

1978 4917 8181

Right now my DS is a little messed up and turns off randomly if I don't have it plugged into the charger. I'm assuming the battery needs to be replaced.

My current team consists of a mish-mash of level 30-40-ish pokémon I'm using to progress through the game before I create a serious team.

Well, these days I don't see people trade much unless it's for Haunter, Kadabra, Machoke and/or Graveller to evolve. Do you need any of those?

I have a shiny Rayquaza that I may be willing to part with. It's currently on my Walker (best. invention. EVAR.) but it's up for trade.

Could you tell me how to find my friend code? I'm awful with all this Nintendo DS WiFi stuffs.

I'm not very far in it either btw... so if you want to have some lower leveled battles let me know.

How the hell did you get a shiny Rayquaza other than hacking your game?

Global Trade Center probably. Seems like every pokémon I get out of there is shiny.

EDIT:

Which, of course, is the result of somebody hacking the game somewhere.

It seems everyone hacks in online play. They use a little program called Pokesav to modify their save game files. They can do it on real carts using an Action Replay device for save file backup/restoration, or using the flashcarts.

Eh, you can just soft reset it in Ruby/Sapphire and whereever else you can get a Rayquaza until it's shiny. I can imagine it's a painful and boring experience, but looking at message boards, I'm surprised at how many people actually reset for shinies. Personally, I'd only ever want a shiny Glaceon. Oh, and my interwebs are working now. I'll edit my FC in later.

Ah yea, I've seen your posts on other forums while I was searching for a way to get Heart Gold to work correctly on my R4, among other things. I'm all like "Wait a minute, I know him!" Same avatar and everything hehe.

Ya, I figured since they were both gaming websites that there is really no reason to try and hide my anonymous identity.

They are remakes for the NDS of the old Silver and Gold versions.

They pretty much look exactly the same as all the NDS generation pokemon games.
