What do you play right now?Follow

Civilization 4 because Civ 5 was a steaming pile of crap. WoW a teensy bit though I'm really bored with it since FFXIV was a steaming pile of crap. Most of the way through Suikoden I though I took a bit of a break from it. Reinstalled Sim City 4, its kinda fun, but not holding attention. Forza 3 a bit still- its still great fun. Beat Halo Reach. Not much else going on. There's just no new games that hold my attention right now. Good games are sparse. Companies put all their work into graphics and end up making a sh*t, but sparkly sh*t game, so few games are any good these days. The last good companies to make truly complex games like Civ 4 and Maxis decided that complex games were just too much effort to make for a hardcore audience and it was easier to just make lobotomized games for a lobotomized audience. ***** them! Blizzard, well I'm not buying SCII until they come out with the whole game. DiabloIII might be good, I hope so. SWTOR I might try. S-E is dead to me. Amazing it went from one of my favorite companies to crap in two games. I'm honestly wondering if I wouldn't like Everquest 2?

Also, now that I'm poor and in school, I'm thinking of having myself a marathon session since it's cheaper than binge drinking. Either Suikoden I through V (I need to get V still!) or Final Fantasy 1 - 6... see if I can get my old PC of 7 and 8 working. if not I don't care, 1-6 is where it's at anyways.

Fallout: New Vegas....is it bad I already have 19 hours played, with hitting 7 hours of class in there over the last 3 days....?

Side Note - Batman: Arkham Asylum is on sale on Steam this weekend. 13.60, worth every penny. If you haven't played it, all I can really say is that it really does feel like Batman. Take that as you will. The only downside is the recycled boss gameplay, but everything else is purely topnotch.

I'm at 15 hours in 2 days with work in between so no worries, you're doing fine.

Went ahead and bought Uncharted 2 for el cheapo on friday. Man, this game rocks. Action, good story, platforming and witty one-liners. I like!

Creepy, I picked up Uncharted 2 a couple weeks ago myself. Great game, but too short. I would have been pissed to spend 60 dollars for it, but for the 25 I paid, it was well worth the money. Right now I'm playing New Vegas, and loving it. I've got Fable 3 on preorder but I don't know when I'll get a chance to play it. I've also got Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood on preorder for next month as well.

Well, after a long, long struggle, I was barely able to beat the final level of the Terran campaign of Starcraft. I really want to slap the person who made this level... Sure, Starcraft has no difficulty setting, but does this level have to be so rediculously hard?!

That level was ridiculous. Between constant attack waves and Kerrigan periodically beating the sh*t out of my defenses, it was a nonstop rebuilding frenzy. Actually, all of the levels were pretty smooth sailing until you hit the last 3 or so - when you first land on Char was similarly intense. I'm pretty eagerly awaiting the Zerg campaign now, though.

I believe Leophard is in the process of completing StarCraft I, not II.

The final mission in Wings of Liberty was frustrating as well, though. I really don't like those rebuild missions with a timed wave spawn. I prefer setting up a solid defense and turtling until my opponent dies from old age, or until I have enough resources to build a massive army that washes over the map like a giant, organic wave of death.

Sounds like you need more siege tanks.

This makes me sad to hear. I love Civ III and IV and was hoping to pick up V one of these days.

That's weird, because my friends who have Civ V all love the game. Some of these are people who have not been familiar with the series and some have been die hard fans.

Agreed, it was way too short. I'd say it has multiplayer going for it, but while unlocking some trophies I've had my share of getting owned. Got the platinum and moved back to LittleBigPlanet.
