Well, after a long, long struggle, I was barely able to beat the final level of the Terran campaign of Starcraft. I really want to slap the person who made this level... Sure, Starcraft has no difficulty setting, but does this level have to be so rediculously hard?!

That level was ridiculous. Between constant attack waves and Kerrigan periodically beating the **** out of my defenses, it was a nonstop rebuilding frenzy. Actually, all of the levels were pretty smooth sailing until you hit the last 3 or so - when you first land on Char was similarly intense. I'm pretty eagerly awaiting the Zerg campaign now, though.

well i finished the witcher and tried to play through it smashing down the dwarf/elf rebellion but had to give up. people that played that way naturally, man i don't know how they sleep at night.

started up mass effect... HOLY **** that was a deal for $5. about halfway done with the second planet and loving it, but since i feel the need to haul out the notebook and take notes for all the planets i explore...

puzzle quest 2 is getting a lot of play as well.

Yup, I still play PQ2 frequently.

Why are you taking notes on planets for ME? I don't recall there being any need to...

I believe Leophard is in the process of completing StarCraft I, not II.

The final mission in Wings of Liberty was frustrating as well, though. I really don't like those rebuild missions with a timed wave spawn. I prefer setting up a solid defense and turtling until my opponent dies from old age, or until I have enough resources to build a massive army that washes over the map like a giant, organic wave of death.

Ooh, whoops. Well, those spoiler tags aren't going to be too useful then. Though I guess it's not major spoilers, since anyone could see either one coming from a mile away.

It's funny you mention turtling. It wouldn't be the first time that I set up a base's defenses, then left the game running overnight, so that I'd come back with 10000 minerals and the enemy being completely depleted of resources. A few bunkers and a siege tank are ridiculous overkill for most of the campaign in the first one.

you know... so the second and third runthroughs go half as much quicker than it took to write down where all the deposits are. prolly a holdover from the ol' star control 2.

Currently playing a bit of FFXIII again, figured I'd get the platinum trophy. So, I go and enter the final dungeon, I manage, go back out to do missions. I've come back after capping 3 roles and upgrading atleast Fang, Hope and Lightning's weapon to the point where I would need a Trapezohedron to continue. Did about 35 missions, 5*ing all of them. I head back to the final dungeon, and the mobs STILL are a pain in the ***. Yay.

I don't know if it's awesome that I re-installed SimCity 4 or just sad.

Started playing Overlord 2 last night. It's a lot of fun.

Critter Crunch and Mushroom Wars are also pretty cool(PSN downloadables), and even more awesome since they were free.

on the rare occasion that my brother and i are both online and i have a decent connection we've been giving borderlands a go. so like, once.

also picked up ELEMENTAL: WAR OF MAGIC today
http://www.elementalgame.com/

got about 5 mins into it so far.

i'm finding it harder and harder to go back to mass effect. i have to give myself pep talks about how awesome all the exposition is between action sequences. sometimes i can't get enough of the stuff and sometimes it's like 'STFU and gimme bad guys!' but either way i don't want to miss out on anything.

Starcraft 2, obviously, but I'm super good at it.

Gold League 1v1, naturally, and 2v2 I'm... Silver League... or I should be, but the game is bugged. 3v3, only have one game down, which we won, of course, um, due to someone disconnecting.

But really, I'm so pro.
