I got my on Tuesday, but didn't get to play it until today (Thursday).

Not very good at it yet. I need to master 1 or 2 fighters and play through the game.

Would be nice if there was some kind of upgrade dlc pack/patch you could buy to bridge the gap, or to bad it isnt $30

Well it's 40 bucks, so that's kinda close.

Anyway, I haven't bought it as I don't have the systems, but I'm happy to see Ibuki back. She was my main in 3rd strike. Gonna enjoy learning her again.

Also, if the game detects SFIV data, it gives 2 costumes which are actually the effects / art style that the opening cinematic displays. I found it neat.

I'm definitely interested in checking this out. I used to play SFIV on the 360 a bit, but I'll probably pick up SSFIV for my PS3 now that I have one. I'm actually pretty glad I waited on it for a bit, because it's down to $28 at GameStop (atm anyway) and $30 on Amazon.com :)

So far I've heard nothing but good things about all the new modes and characters. Looking forward to it.

One thing I've also heard is that if you have any of the extra costumes (the DLC ones) from SFIV, they'll transfer over to your SSFIV! Not 100% sure on that though.

I generally suck at the game compared to most, but it is a great game to play when you have friends/family over.

I suck online. But then I always seem to Vs. people who use Ryu/someone who has a "fire ball" attack and they just do it over and over.
Playing as Juri, you have to get in there to kick the **** out of people.
So hard when I'm trying to doge fireballs before the timer hits 0 -.-

The reason why people spam fireballs:

(Also, Guile is significantly more annoying than any of the shoto (Ryu/Ken/Akuma/Dan/Sakura/Gouken) characters. Having to guess between Sonic Boom Spam (aka the Sonic Condom) and a Flash kick is a pain in the ***. Super Street Fighter 4 sped up the charge timers (beneficial for Blanka, Guile, and E.Honda) which has caused a spike in the number of Guile players online. (That and goddamn Daigo Umehara playing Guile at the Capcom Release party.)

Seeing as how I absolutely hate the control scheme for SF games, I'll be passing on this one.

It's not that hard, if Guile moves backwards then get ready for a Sonic Boom. If he crouches for more then a second then it's gonna be a Flash Kick. They may have shortened the timers but they haven't changed the starting positions for the move.

If you're going to play a fighting game, a joystick is the way to go.

I hate square gates which is what most use, and am to lazy to buy the octagon gate and swap it out. Also combine that with the madcat ones always sell out super fast.

LOL. I just gave the online part of this game a whirl for the first time today. I sucked hardcore. The lag throws me off so much! Living in Hawaii has many benefits, but online gaming is NOT one of them. Sheesh man, forget landing combos with the lag I'm getting during every match haha. Hopefully it was just an unlucky streak of available players today.
