The Witcher 2Follow

Looks promising.

Never actually finished the first since it was a bit buggy and the load times were at times annoying, but it looks like a complete overhaul is underway.

This actually looks pretty freaking awesome.

Apparently Amazon has an uncensored European import of the game for more than twice as much as the regular version.

Ok this thread inspired me to give the first one another try as well. First time I played the Demo I hated the camera, the controls, and the terrible stuttering frame rate.

I'm playing it on a much better rig now with a shiny new PNY GTX460 and man this game looks great at max settings for a game from 2007. I got the camera worked out now and the controls are really not that bad just much different than my MMO trained mind was used to. The combat sequences are actually get pretty good after you train up a bit. Also enjoying the story so far as well.

Picked up the directors cut off of Steam. So far the romances are kind of funny. Nothing involved like in DA:O or ME. Mostly he just says your pretty wanna throw down? Then you get a dirty card in your journal. >.> I am not very far in yet but thats been the first 4 hookups. The story for CH1 was quite good however and I see now why this game was acclaimed even though the demo really turned me off the first time I tried it.
