Pineal Squeegee - a corp for, by new playersFollow

Pineal Squeegee is a corp for new players who are interested in building a corp from scratch. All current members are somewhat new to eve. We are bound by a common philosophy of fearless experimentation, a willingness to take risks, and a desire to learn from our experiences and pass the knowledge we gain to our corp mates.

The name of the corp is a reference to the pineal gland, a tiny organ located in the center of the brain. This gland is anatomically a third eye, complete with a cornea, lens, and retina. Comedian Bill Hicks often made reference to the pineal gland during his act, stating that he had squeegeed his third eye as a euphemism for opening his mind and freeing himself of his preconceived notions and learned behavior.

The philosophy of Pineal Squeegee is built upon this ideal of open mindedness, humor, and resistance to being taught "the right way". Human history is full of examples of false notions being accepted as fact. The earth is flat, flight is impossible, etc. There is no reason to believe that what is considered to be common knowledge among eve players is absolute truth. Our hope is that this philosophy will enable us to find methods of thriving within eve that have not yet been exhausted, and perhaps not even been attempted or discovered.
