I never played Guild Wars (the 1st) but have thought about it a lot. Guild Wars - 2 looks promising. But they all do at this stage of production.

No release date given.

That vid had some amazing eyecandy in it. Jeero, in the vid, there appear to be a few scenes of characters leaping. But it does still surprise me that people base a large part of their opinion of MMOs on if you can jump. I'll never understand that.

That cube city thing was amazing, and the plant world was picturesque. I really liked the art style, and a large percentage of the environments were interesting, and made me want to explore them right now. Guild Wars 1 is free to play, isn't it? I wonder if 2 will work the same way.

I really didn't think it was possible for men to have multiple orgasms in one go, my pants speak otherwise. If this game is 1/10 as good as these trailers are making it appear, this is probably my next game.

Edit: Smiley: lol at my last post being one year and a day ago.

Crap, what could the system requirements possibly be for this to run with all that bling? I know Guild Wars didn't require much, but it was divided into a lot (a lot) of sections, each requiring some loading time. This looks sweet, but I can hear my video card clawing at the cabinet.

Ps. What the hell, are those cyborg Tarutaru?

well, tons of new info came out after the last month of conapalooza.

sidekicking sounds pretty cool with a level cap of 80. if you're 57 and your buddy is 13 your armor and numbers will get scaled back to level 16 or so if you go to his area, and if he comes to your area his numbers will get bumped up to ~54... but he'll only have the skills available to a 13. it makes a really interesting contrast to wow's logarithmic leveling laws.

they're planning on one na and one eu server, possibly joining them together as well. multiple servers per continent, but you can switch between them at will.

there won't be a healing class; they don't like the 'sit around town until you find a healer' method of forming a group, so every character will be capable of healing themself. tanking will be more about control than soaking damage.

yadda yadda yadda
