*Angry reward loss vent!!!Follow

Well, simply put, i'm MAD! VERY VERY VERY MAD!

I went and did the Scythe Schematic Quest. The first three missions were a breeze. Killed a Gammorrean, a Bounty Hunter, and delivered stuff to a Bo'marr Monk. Then I got a treasure map.
I followed the map to the Krayt Graveyard. The area had a few thugs, but after i took care of them, I searched the area and found the treasure box. It popped out of nowhere and I opened it. In it was a Scythe Schematic, a Blue Force crystal, and a CDEF Pistol. Before I could get my paws on these awesome items (excluding the pistol) and transfer them into my inventory, a Krayt dragon spawns on me (as part of the mission). I went in thinking I could get the items before it got me, but I didn't...
It incapped me twice, maskscented, and everytime i stood up and clicked on the treasue box, the dastardly beast would incap me. Finally it DB'd me and I was fuming by then. I returned to the active treasure waypoint and the box was gone. A group of Krayt hunter players were busy killing the dragon spawn from my mission and when I asked them about it, they said they saw no treasure chest at all! I'm afraid one of them took my reward, but I can't point fingers, so i won't.

I submitted a CSR ticket outlining my predicament, and now all I can do is sit and wait for an outcome.

This completely ruined my plan for today too! I was hopng to get this schematic, get the Geonosian Sword Core from the new Geonosian Dungeon, and get a Master Weaponsmith to craft the finished Scythe. So much for that...

Find a friend who is a ranger, and have him camoflouge you. This should work... if not.... I don't know what to tell ya.... except get ready to take that thing down with a bunch of friends!

I don't know if you have done a treasure map before, especially when you were noob, but I would imagine the same rules apply. You loot the treasure box, angry mob spawns and takes your treasure from you, you must take the treasure back and either get out of there quick or kill the angry mob, if you choose to fight the mob, beware that they might take your treasure again, the treasure chest automatically disappears after a certain amount of time, thats why you don't see treasure chests for sale on the bazaar or used for storage lockers. That's why it is necessary to take the treasure out of the box and into your inventory ASAP, even if you are home free with a treasure chest full of loot, the chest will disappear, and if your stuff is inside, it too will disappear. Not sure if that's the way it's supposed to work, but that's the way it does work. I used to do every treasure map I could get my hands on, aye matey.

I have been in two parties that did the same mission. Both times we had a hunting group ready for a Krayt and both times we were able to draw the aggro off of the mission holder so he could loot. Both times they got the schematic.

We ended up killing the first Krayt, but <vent>some ******** from an Imp guild came by and stole the other one </vent>.

Hi Folks

i haven´t tried the quest myself by now .
BUT if i would try do it i would start to look at the database for quests ..
there is said that the krayt has to be get rid off

Just a thought .. :)

if someone in the future is posting quest hints please be sure to indicate spoilers .. some people like hints but not the solution
