Dammit. Now SR IV is at $9.99. I'm seriously tempted.
It's essentially a glorified DLC for SRIII. I'm holding out until it drops below five dollars.
For me, I think it'd be worth ten bucks. The problem is that getting it means I give up a shot at Divinity Dragon Commander if it goes 75% unless that happens on Friday. That said, I could probably wait until next sale for it too. Decisions...
The complete SRIV collection comes out July 15 with all the DLC. Going to be $20 for PC ($30 on consoles). So you might want to wait until the winter sale season if you're not looking to play it immediately.

While I would probably play it almost immediately if I got it now, that's certainly a damn good reason to hold off. I think I'll at least give it til the end of sale. If it comes back on an End of Sale recap or whatever, I might get it then, but if not, that's fine too.
Grabbed MGS: Revengence for 14.99 and I feel dirty. Also grabbed Saints Row 4 + Season Pass for 12.49 because the wife wanted something to tide her over til GTA5 comes out for PC

For whatever reason, Steam does not let me purchase games from my work computer. I rarely shop for games from home. So, this is a good mechanism to not buy games.
I really want Brothers though. I'll probably pursue that one when I get home this evening...if I remember.

Anyone play Blackgaurds? Mildly tempted by that today.
In other news South Park has been ridiculously entertaining so far. You need to have a sick sense of humor of course but holy crap some of those sequences are way over the top. Fighting Underpants Gnomes while shrunk under humping parents and doing a backflip dodge of giant hairy balls was epic in a way that is hard to describe, with a straight face.
It does have some annoying QTE stuff and poorly explained fart magic tutorials but that's pretty easy to get over when the rest of the game turns you into such a dumb (fun) kid at every turn.

I bought blackguard when it first came out (20 or 25% off on gmg). I enjoyed it but it was difficult. Nothing like the publishers other games (point and click adventures). Controls were not explained well in the start.
It was not as jrpg strategy as I had hoped. More of a d&d tabletop strategy feel.
Also, Operating Everyone Work as a Team seems to be working as intended. And I always try to craft one badge during the sales events just because I would feel bad if I didn't have a badge from the event on my account. So I'm going to wait until it's purple's day again to redeem my badge, just cause I get a 1 in 5 million chance for free games, and two cards.
I don't know if it'll hold, but purple's winning right now.

When you get to the part with the clinic, fart on one of the fallen enemies. If the achievements are as good as the trophies, it'll be worth it.

Apparently Steam threw a monkey wrench into the scheme by making 2nd and 3rd place give 20 people 2 games and 10 people 1 game (respectively). So now the other teams aren't sitting idle and Purple is getting point-raped. (I wonder if the Team point stealing tokens are random? I think they must be...)
