Yeah, was glad about the physical copies. $30 is too rich for me to backlog but I bought a PS3 copy for my kid for Christmas.

Previously bought a way-too-expensive $50 copy from Gamestop that has to go back now.

Humble Jumbo Bundle

Base:
Natural Selection 2
Sanctum 2
Magicka + DLc

BTA:
Orcs Must Die 2 Complete Edition
Serious Sam 3: BFE
Gary's Mod

Dunno what's more "Jumbo" about it than any other bundle but I only owned Magicka (doesn't everyone own Magicka?) so yay for bundles I don't own.

I do. I played it 5-10 minutes and it crashed. Apparently some people like it. It's on my totally going to go back and try it again later list.

I almost jumped on Shadow Warrior after watching some of the sword play video's. But figured if I need something new by the next holiday I'll snag it then.

Would you like to? I can gift you my bundle key for it (unless you're buying the bundle anyway).

I was going to ask if it was any good. Smiley: lol

My impression is that lots of people have it, being as it seems to get bundled with stuff, but no one really ever plays it. In the meantime I got Endless Space while it was on sale for $10 or whatever it was; so I'll be playing their civilization knockoff for at least the next couple hundred hours or so. Smiley: rolleyes

A lot of people have it because it's been in various indie bundles and because it's been in like a dozen Paradox bundles through Amazon. Crusader Kings 2+DLC+Victoria+Magicka+DLC... that sort of thing.

It's also often the Steam daily deal about nine days out of each week.

That's alright, appreciated though. Guessing it would never get touched, since my ratio of games to free time is a bit high right now. Smiley: rolleyes

Just Cause 2 Multiplayer News:

Quote:
Dear Player,

Since August, we've been working hard on the mod in radio silence. We've hinted at a big surprise,
and we think it's time to finally let everyone in on the big secret: Today, we are proud to announce
that the Just Cause 2 Multiplayer mod has been officially integrated with Steam!

We will be releasing the mod on Steam this month and we will be holding our final beta test onDecember 7th.
If everything goes as planned, the test should run for the entire week until the 14th of December;
after that, we will make some final changes and release the client and server for everyone to enjoy.

Get your Steam key now at the following link:
http://www.jc-mp.com/keys/

We hope to see you in-game!
Regards,
JC2-MP Team

Ubisoft is offering a 35% off voucher on digital games/content. Again, Ubisoft uses its own client (Uplay) which I never had a problem with but no surprises if you decide to use it.

When I claimed the code, it said I would receive it within seven working days which sounds insane to me but it's good for a year so maybe they'll have some games on sale for Christmas or something. 35% might be the best discount you see on new titles like Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag or Arkham Origins.

UbiSoft is having a "Twelve Days of Christmas" sale so, if/when you get your coupon now you have something to stack it with.

Also, I really called it with 35% off being the best price on AC4, huh? Smiley: laugh

FFVIII PC has been released on Steam. And if you are interested in buying/playing it now, Green Man Gaming's 20% discount code works on it.

Not exactly a huge deal (9.60 after discount) but a deal none the less.

I'm real tempted. I'm trying to wait till maybe holiday sale though. Lotsa nostalgia there for me.

If you bought AC IV on the recent sale, you can get 30% off the season Pass at GMG with code GMG30-MW6WA-ZAJIH

Code also works for Bioshock Inf Season Pass, BL2 Season Pass, Arkham Origins SEason Pass and XCOM: Enemy Within (not a season pass).

Steam is having a sale on games featured at the VGX (some games awards thingie). Mainly 50% offs since they're all relatively new games but another chance for Bioshock Infinite at 75% off or TOmb Raider 2013 at 80% off, etc.

GameFly is also having a holiday sale starting already. New deals daily. Use coupon code GFDDEC20 for another 20% off the sale prices.

Edit: Tried to post the Gamefly upcoming sale list but got a "Silly content" error from the forum. I'm not about to try to figure out what character string in a list of a hundred-plus games tripped the filter so y'all can eat a sack of monkey wieners.

Sir, You Are Being Hunted! is the Steam Daily Deal, $10 (50% off). For this low price you too can play Farcry against British Robots. It's currently in Public Alpha, but it looks really good gameplay-wise.

I picked up Legend of Grimrock for $3 during the Steam Thanksgiving sale. Any fans of Stonekeep should check it out - it's a pretty faithful re-creation of the experience with some added D&D-esque RPG elements, new game play elements, some nifty puzzles, and spiffier graphics.

More info on the Fallout deal. Apparently GOG's license to sell them expires next week, so as a big FU to Bethesda (my words not theirs) they're giving the games away. As long as you get them in your GOG account before the deal is over you keep them forever (read: until the site shuts down).
