Nope. The pants you buy with gold. You just have to have the right amount of guild rep.

They're BtA, so you can buy them with another character and (sorry) mail them. It works across factions and the new toon doesn't have to be in the same guild. You may have an old guild tabard to boost guild rep gains, you can send that over too.

If I want to mail Dig's monk some basil, do I have to pay with pancakes, or can I use JP?

They closed my ticket and "fixed" the problem by deleting my characters.

But... they didn't fix whatever problem is stopping me from deleting my characters. So... yeah. Now I get another 1-2 days to wait for THAT to be fixed.

It's ridiculous that there's no priority for a reopened ticket - it just goes to the back of the line.

It's probably the annual item they sent to all characters to celebrate the WoW anniversary. All characters were sent an item that when used grants a +9% buff to experience and rep; I've heard reports of people being unable to delete characters because they have mail waiting because of this.

Yeah, that's what the GM said it was. But it's annoying, because it's clearly some kind of bug - I've "removed" the mail and the item, but it still doesn't work. :(

Two sources of heirloom gear I recently used.

1. Guild rep.
2. Darkmoon Faire.

Guild rep gear costs a little gold, but it's not too bad. If you don't have the required rep, guild rep is super easy to get these days. Use the guild tabard for 100% boost. It was much quicker than using JP/VP (whichever it was).

DMF gear may not be instantly available, but it's not to hard to accumulate tickets for them, especially with several alts working on the Faire (which is how I worked it). Items are around 110 tickets, if I recall correctly. These can be upgraded to level 85, too, for around 45 tickets.

Also, the pieces from guild rep and DMF (I don't recall which has which atm) are complementary, which is nice. It was like head, legs, back from guild and shoulders, chest from DMF...or something like that.

So Monk is more fun now. Now, Jab does less damage than Tiger Palm, so you're appropriately only using your "basic" attack when you need to generate Chi. So combat flows better.

I mean, it's still just those two attacks until you get Blackout Kick at level 7. But hey, that's something.
