Weekend Goals (12 Apr 13)Follow

The wee hours of Friday morning have rolled around again and I'm going to get things rolling!

WOW: I need to get the basic Darkmoon turn ins done on various toons, farm VP and then generally try to relax. That probably means running as much LFR as I can; I'm one of the strange ones who actually likes LFR. I also need to do a load of scenarios.

RL: It was an ambush! During her time off, Pink has been unwinding and being dangerously domestic. She is, in her way, terribly romantic. It has been chilly and she has been feeling under the weather, so her idea of a good evening is to pile in bed under a stack of comforters, with the latest poodle puppy romping about, and watch a movie ... preferably a scary one that requires her being held a lot. If tales of my WOW exploits are a bit thin, I hope you'll understand that my brains are sorta mush.

OK, let's hear some adventures!

Good morning

I don't really have any major goals for this weekend. I plan on doing the usual assortment of stuff like keeping up my farms, doing some dailies, maybe some lfr, an old raid perhaps, maybe even put some time into alt leveling.

I got a T15 chest token from ToT lfr last night so I do want to hit up ToES to try for the T14 shoulder token since having that would let me wear my 522 pants and still keep my 2 piece T14 bonus while picking up the T15 2 piece as well. I've been rather unlucky with drops so I'm not holding my breath on this one.

I'm planning on the usual family visit on Sunday but no other big real life plans.

RL - people will be over to see the baby, so between cleaning and visiting I plan on working outside finishing some gardening and cleaning up my garage. I "celebrate" a birthday soon so I got one gift last night (cast iron griddle) that I want to try out this weekend (pancakes!!!!) and the wife has some other activities planned out.

WoW- still playing a mage but not having a whole lot of fun. While I didnt expect to set the world on fire, I did at least expect to not have to cast 4 spells to kill a mob the same level as me. I will either try to give the mage a few more chances to entertain me or I will make a warlock and try that out. Not much is really holding my attention at the moment, slowly feeling the urge to play again but don't seem to have the time ...

Well my unlimited hatred towards Blizzard is starting to resemble something that has a limit and with the rather lack luster days I have been having my desire to come back is well... coming back. So while I am waiting for the game to reinstall I am debating if I am truly going to go with it or not.

Goals wise I have nothing really planned if I do hop on. Probably resort to making a new character until that becomes boring and then hop back on my hunter and pick up where I left off.

On a side note, keep your "they always come back" to yourself. Smiley: mad

I'm thinking of buying MoP this weekend and getting back into WoW.

Well if it helps your decision making MoP is so vastly superior to Cata there really is no comparison.

I didn't really have any problems with Cata, so it doesn't sway me one way or the other. I was hoping to find a digital download version a little cheaper than 40 though.

Oh neither did I but it just gives you a frame of reference for how well they did for this expansion.

Hmm, not real sure I have any WoW goals this weekend. I'm pretty burned out, so I'm mostly taking a break.

Criminy, why do you have unlimited hatred for Blizz? Just curious?

Well it slowly accumulated for a variety of reasons I care not to get into but my breaking point had to do with a looting bug and the sheer incompetence from the GMs that followed. Also my unlimited hatred does have a limit since I renewed my sub this morning. Yay? Smiley: laugh
