Once again, it is Friday evening on this side of the planet. Time to get the goals thread rolling!

WoW: I'd like to push my old, original main (Troll Warrior) to 80, but I've also been saving the XP buff on my Horde Monk and I'm looking forward to another burst of explosive leveling. If RL stays quiet, I should be able to get the Warrior to 80 and still have time to exhaust my buffs and rested XP on the Monk.

RL: This morning brought the return of Beijing's usual winter winds. I woke to the sound of my north facing windows being shaken by the gusts, smiled and went back to sleep. Sure enough, later that morning I was greeted by the sight of almost blue skies and more horizon than I've seen all week. The air still wasn't clear enough for me to see the hills that surround the northern portion of Beijing, but as long as the winds hold we'll have some relief from the smog. Pink is feeling a bit better and has claimed her usual slice of the weekend. I gather that her plan is for us to take it easy and get a massage. Spring Festival is almost upon us!

Weekday Summary: I've been trying to make a push to knock some of the dust off of my original main. At first, it was a bit hard because he's the toon I used to play with my 'daughter' and it just didn't feel right and the game has changed a lot. Now, I'm closing in on 80 and having fun.

Have mercy on an old man trapped in his apartment, forced to play World of Warcraft, drink overproof Mongolian booze and snack on air dried beef! Mazra still won't share his ****! Make it your weekend goal to come back to the summary thread with tales of conquest, valor and adventure. May the RNG smile on you all.

edited to add sample Weekday entry

WoW: Friday: Night 3 of Raiding. We will see where we are going. It is either work on: Elegon or the 1st boss in HoF.
Sat & Sun: I should maybe do a set of dailies on my monk for lesser coins and some gold. Oh yea..and for VP -.- I also planon running LFR in hopes to get my 4 final coins for the legendary quest (need 4 sigils of wisdom), VP and maybe some more LFR t14 gear (finally got 2p, 4p would be even better :o)
-My DK is finally 89, and as much as I REALLY want him 90 (he is my gatherer toon) I think I might PvP his way to 90. A little slower (or so it seems with the awesome groups I get put in >.>), but Honor is nice. I'd like to have a PvP toon to play on, and atm I do not like PvPing as a Monk.

RL: The weather here in the Mid-west (of NA) is stupid. It is now suppose to be "cold" for a while. I can handle cold, but dislike cold and windy. The last 2 days it has been that, so if it is windy (and I can hear the gate outside swinging around, so it must be) I'll probably just stay inside. I have a few movies to watch still..and Sunday is the Super Bowl and I usually watch that.

Oh, it's that time again, huh?

RL: Well, some jerk backed into my parked car yesterday while I was at work and smashed my taillight, so I should probably get it looked at and repaired. Luckily they only broke the glass and not the light itself, so the car is still fit for the road. On Sunday I'll be watching the Super Bowl with my friends. Huzzah!

WoW: Well, I'm not sure really. I hit 70 on my mage, so I could start Northrend stuff... I've upgraded all my Druid's blue gear to ilevel 471, giving me a total ilevel of 480 right now (ironically only 4 ilevels below my friend, who raids several times a week). I hit Exalted with Golden Lotus too, so that's done... I guess I'll put my goals as "at least 73 with my mage" and "run dailies on my Druid." Huh, sounds kind of boring. I need new goals Smiley: lol

Other Games: Really want to try and complete my Fem-Shep ME1 Insanity run-through. Totally picked the wrong class though; Adept is pretty underpowered for an Insanity run, I've found. I'm currently stuck at Liara's dig site, and I've wiped against the Krogan Battlemaster five times. One hit from his rush instantly kills me, even at full health and shields. Blech. Maybe I'll restart as a soldier... a little boring for a choice, but Immunity is so overpowered in that game that Insanity shouldn't be as bad.

RL
Super Bowl party on Sunday. That's probably going to kill a good chunk of weekend play time. I make sushi every year, so the shopping and prep time involves a bit of work as well. It'll be fun, though, so no complaints. Also, get the dog to the dog park again. He made substantial progress last weekend, so hopefully that continues.

WoW
Pally - maybe run some LFR. I'm not very motivated for it, so we'll see.

Druid - Pet hunting. Specifically, rare hunting. I'm at 1 poor (can maybe replace it since Darkmoon Faire starts this week), 21 common, 180 uncommon, and 256 rare. I'll make it my goal to get to around 275 rares over the weekend. Also, I need to look into starting the August Celestial dailies. I have them open on the Pally, but not the Druid...need to figure out why. Also need to look into how to open the phased stuff in Krasarang that leads to the Sumprush Rodent.

DK - Hit 65 last night. So, I should be able to get a level or two. XP racks up quick in dungeons, but I may need to quest a little to get some gear upgrades. I'm mostly sporting DK starter stuff, which isn't going to work much longer. I may not have the time to play as much on the DK given RL commitments, but we'll see. I'm really liking playing the DK. It's been pretty fun just having one toon on a realm and relying only on that one toon. A bit of pain in the butt sometimes, but a fun challenge nevertheless.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

RL - have my kids and a garage and yard that desperately needs to be cleaned up, the house as well ... so will be entertaining small ones and cleaning the majority of the time

WOW - prob will not get to play much due to said RL stuff. So my plan is to do what dailies I can for Celestials and Shadowpan, I'm about 6k away from Revered with Shadowpan and need about 500 more VP to cap for the week. Also have to farm farm farm as much as I can, only need 2 more cards and the darkmoon faire starts this weekend. My wife gave up on her monk, so I will try to level my paladin some to catch up to her shaman or I will roll a rogue after I get some more JP gear.

Got my Black Mammoth mount to drop last night, so that is out of the equation!

On a side note - should we have a weekday goals/accomplishments thread or is that just overkill? I think Monday-Thursday feel abandoned...

Hmmm... how about appending a footnote to the Summary and Goals thread? Example: WOW, RL, Weekday. Put the weekday goals with summary and the weekday comments with the goals thread. That would let us keep things rolling without cluttering up the landscape. Other thoughts?

I have enough trouble planning out my weekends. And what I think on Friday is significantly different from what I actually end up doing by Sunday. Smiley: rolleyes
Anyway... am painting. Then putting it all back together by SuperBowl time on Sunday, which I'll be at my brother's place for.
In game, I have no plans really, just log in and see what strikes me. I've also been playing Final Fantasy: Dimensions on my iPad which is taking me back to my formative gamer years. Smiley: nod

I finally got off my butt and actually capped my weekly valor for the first time, while also finally acheiving that elusive 470 ilevel and trying out the heart of fear raid.

Lots of fun, I really enjoyed the frogger part at the Blade Lord.
