Well, it's Monday. It's especially hard for me because I had four days in a row off. How did everyone do on their goals?

Gaming Goals:
As expected, WoW didn't get any play time this weekend. I put some good hours into Star Wars, though.

Real Life Goals:
Most of the weekend chores got done. There's one load of laundry that I put in the washer before I left for work today, but other than that everything's good. My son is also foing better after a trip to the emergency room with a severe asthma attack. They gave him a daily inhaler and a rescue inhaler and since Wednesday morning when he got them he has only needed the rescue inhaler twice.

DS raid tonight - the raid leader quit the group after he tried changing our nights to Fri/Sat from Tue/Fri to fit his upcoming school schedule. Half of the group couldn't do Saturday for various reasons and he realized that it made more sense for him to start up a new group to meet his schedule than to replace a bunch of people and force a bunch to find new raids to fit into. We're starting fresh tonight after half the group thought that Tues was cancelled but if we are all on our game like last Friday, we should be able to get through most of it.

The raid went fairly smoothly. We had to make some adjustments because we had a new healer and one of our other regulars was absent so we were two-healing fights that people were used to three-healing. I ended up doing over 7k hps while still holding top dps on the ping-pong boss just using my maelstrom procs on chain heals and rain. We got all the way up through Ultraxion which we had a few little issues on due to a couple of learning deaths by the new healer who hadn't done it on normal before. We are planning on going back in tonight.

ICC raid Sat night - at least I think it's still ICC though I know we finished off most of the mount achievements for those who have had reasonable attendance. I know a lot of us are itching to try a different raid for a change. Heh

We mainly went in to get a couple of people their heroic blood wing achievement and so we did that along with getting boned for a few people who didn't have it plus the Saurfang speedkill one.

I think Children's Week starts this Sunday and if so, I will be working to get pets on my main and alts. I'm not totally sure why I should bother with alts with the whole pet battle thing coming and pets being shared across accounts but there is no guarantee that all of that will actually happen or if Blizz will change their minds about it.

Doing it on a few alts - and getting pet biscuits for my main and some alts who have the pets. Giant pets are fun. :)

As usual, I don't have any other definite goals for WoW though I do intend on spending a good amount of time playing. I wish we were going to get more than just one additional character slot though as I have been itching to start new characters lately and I really don't like going to other servers to do that where I don't know anyone and where I don't have characters with max professions to help out.

I did an MC run and a few more Scholo runs but didn't really pick up anything too exciting. I worked on arch a bit but no new rares have popped up.

Real life plans - usual family visit.

Family visit went fine. I do get a bit embarrassed over them having to make a few changes to accommodate my low sodium diet but they don't seem to mind too much. :)

WOW: Run random dungeons to gear up the freshly dinged hunter and grind pets for Children's Week.

The Druid made it through LFR again, got some decent drops for Feral and picked up Bottled Wishes as a replacement for one of his embarrassingly low iLevel trinkets. The Hunter had some bad PUGs, but stuck with it and managed to get some tolerable upgrades. Both of them knocked out their pet grinds and I'm hoping that rumors of making pets and mounts account wide turn out to be true.

RL: Bun-Bun has to work Saturday. It may be a quiet holiday, she ordered a chair for me and we'll need to stay around for delivery. The cottonwood fluff has my allergies kicking up to the point it is hard to string words together, so quiet is probably a good thing.

I hate being stuck waiting for a delivery and this one managed to nuke three days. The good news -- Bun got me a really wonderful chair, the first decent one that I've had in over a decade. The bad news -- allergies, insufficient sleep and my general lack of patience for waiting have left me feeling like less than a ray of sunshine.

Although I didn't set any goals, I dinged 85 on my Paladin. He also got 3 rares in Archeology. Also opened Molten Front on my druid who digned 85 last week and have started the Childrens Week stuff on those alts that need it.
