Well, it's Monday. Looking forward to my 3 day weekend next weekend. How did everybody do on this past weekend's goals?

Gaming goals:
I didn't even get to sniff my computer.

Real Life goals:
Work on Saturday wasn't completely terrible. Took the little one to see the Easter Bunny on Sunday and get his picture taken. After geting him over his fear of a giant rabbit, we actually got a smile out of him for the picture.

-Working on leveling my hunter to 85 before my time expires. It expires on Wednesday and I am getting bored of it once again. Smiley: tongue Oh well I got me some Rift time so I will dink on their while I wait for Diablo to come out.

Not quite to 84. Still not bad though so I am happy.

-Grill some hamburgers and hotdogs for a friend of my roommates Saturday. Well the burgers turned out awesome and I am slowly learning how to be a good host... not that I like it. Smiley: glare I would much rather be alone in my room or outside. But at least I am getting over some social issues I have with people.

Nothing really else to say about this.

-Spray the yard with chemicals. Some good like fertilizer. Some bad like weed killer and pest-b-gone. I honestly don't know which one is worse, the constant weeds that I have to deal with on a nearly daily basis or the fire ants that like to come along as say "hi".

Was raining off and on all weekend so I didn't bother. Will get to it this week since it is going to be sunny for at least a couple days.

Wow goals - didn't get near the computer. RL interfered with those plans ;)

RL - trade show... yeesh, where else (besides cable tv) can you go that the vendors pay to be there, you pay to get in to be sold the vendors stuff.... but it was an improvement over last year, they actually have vendors for Photo-voltaic that have half a clue instead of just the "fence charger" or "water tank filler" that can have a solar panel thrown on it. Lacrosse game was a hit in more ways than one. Still a few home-games in the season so may get to a couple more. We shall see.
Cooking ahead, did a lot of that yesterday, lasagna cupcakes, won-ton "tacos"... great pre-portioned items ready to head out the door.

WOW: I'd like to get one of the Horde side alts up to 40 before switching back to the Alliance toons. My current server (chosen because of friends) is disproportionately Alliance, but I'm still more comfortable with Horde toons.

Goblin rogue to 40, dinged discovering the former Salt Flats and I'm really enjoying the new version of Thousand Needles. Tauren Paladin went from 12-23 and dinged 24 by getting two boxed through SFK. The AH Horde side is dead, so I needed to start getting the Paladin's Inscription high enough to fill some basic slots for my toons. Oddly, the rogue is the money maker of the group -- mechanical squirrel boxes seem to sell reliably. Goal accomplished and good times were had.

RL: Bun-Bun seems to be back for real, which means that my weekends are (usually pleasantly) more random. I may get hauled off to the big, local wholesale market Saturday. That's always an interesting adventure.

Yep, I was hauled off to the market, where I dropped a goodly chunk of change but brought back 'exotic' goods like butter, rum (what can I say, I keep getting quest chains with pirates), limeade, a 5L can of EKU dark, olive oil, spaghetti, salami and more. All of this comes just in time for a three day holiday next week.

WoW - Logged in with my Blood Elf - first created character before I knew anything about Horde/Alliance. Since I'm an "elf" at heart, gaming-wise, still wish there were playable High Elves (my first created EQ character) or that BE's were Alliance side. During the Love Fest I lucked out by getting the Lovely Black Dress (http://www.wowhead.com/item=22279/lovely-black-dress) on her so decided to put it on and hang out in one of the Silvermoon Lounges to listen in to any RP. (I'm on a RP server.)

So I put this slinky little black number on her and the default red bra straps showed, including the red strap going across the back..in a backless dress. Not a pretty look. That sent me off Googling to figure out how not to have the undies show. All I found were posts talking about hacks. Not going to try that. Finally encountered another BE wearing a dress in Silvermoon and asked her. She said she did not see the bra straps/back. Weird. Suggested I restart the UI. Tried various things along those lines...I'm still seeing the bra on my monitor but just glad the rest of Azeroth is apparently not seeing it...lol. Enjoyed relaxing in Silvermoon and listening to the RP. That was the extent of my time in WoW this weekend because...

...Linden Lab, the owners of the virtual world, SecondLife, made another highly unpopular decision re: how online products are delivered to customers. (In SL, all content is resident-created; it's not a virtual world one enters that is pre-made.) I run a small shop in SL and 99% of my sales are from the online venue so this new system of product delivery directly affects me. I spent most of my online time trying to figure out the new system, discovered that it will only run on the newest viewer recently introduced that my dino-PC can't run. ARGGGGGHHHH. From reading the SL Merchants Forum it appears that those who have been using the system are either having delivery glitches or products are being sold, customer gets charged for the purchase, product arrives, but merchant doesn't get paid. Another fine mess, LL.

RL - Checked in on status of family member who was in a very bad car accident, broke her pelvis, had surgery, and will require a very long rehab period. Found a website that has all the episodes of "The Vampire Diaries." Having a great time watching Season 1. Chatted with friends online, a few I haven't seen in a long time - great catching up.

Got a bunch of quests waiting for me in Uldum, but didn't feel like questing or chasing levels after all so I ran a few Cata dungeons and challenges with a group of 3 guildies Saturday night. Odd group, a priest, two druids and a hunter, all L83-84. Then did some AH work. Yesterday, still feeling very non-type-A, picked up first aid, fishing, and cooking to see how fast I can level the group. Got them all to at least 200. Figure I'll go ahead and push those before I give up my more profitable gathering profession (skinning) to learn a trade. Now I have to head over to Outland and solo all of the dungeons by way of farming netherweave cloth for bandages.

Well, I'm actually in a raid group again so I should be raiding in DS tonight. I ran with them on Tues and we got the first 5 bosses down pretty smoothly so we'll be starting tonight on the ship which has been giving them problems. It feels good to be wanted. LoL I will probably be joining that guild too though they aren't requiring me too. I've got some real life stuff going on so a really hardcore guild is probably not the best thing for me right now.

We worked on Blackhorn - we made progress but still didn't down him. We worked a bit on him on Saturday afternoon too using only one tank and made some progress. I think we'll get him down this coming week if the regular players are available. I have already gotten a kill on him from December with my old guild but they quit raiding so at least I will be raiding more regularly again.

I'll be in ICC on Saturday night. I may ask if I can bring an alt since I finished getting my drake on my main there. My Warrior is usually welcome as a tank though I'm tempted to ask to bring my balance Druid so I can learn how to play him in a raid. People are always asking for ranged and I know I'm not that great on my Hunter so maybe Druid raiding would work better for me for an alt raider.

He let me bring my Druid for most of it. I'm not very good at playing a Boomkin in a group it seems, or it could be just my poor gear. He got some achievements though which is nice.

I got my vial of the sands recipe from arch on Monday night though I still have 4 rares left to find on my main. I will probably do that if I find myself with a free hour or two. I am also farming transmog gear and leveling alts as always. It will be a long weekend for me so I should have a lot of time to play with.

I did some more Arch on my main but nothing new and exciting has turned up. I did a bit of gear farming in various places and I did pick up some things I have been looking for. I found that soloing AQ20 on my Hunter is easier for some fights but really really annoying on the big boss because he stuns (whirlwinds) my pet and pounds on my Hunter a lot. I didn't really work on leveling alts at all this weekend.

I will likely be going out to see family on Sunday like usual. :)

I went despite the rain and had a nice time.

Played more WoW this weekend than I have during any other weekend in the past year or two. Ended up getting a ton of achievements (maybe 300 achievement points or so), mostly through questing in Eastern Kingdoms, as well as some old raids. I also did my first LFR (technically I did three), but ended up getting kicked from one of the fights because I didn't know the mechanics (doh). Had a lot of fun...

... but was mostly angry, because I was SUPPOSED to be doing the closed Beta for GW2, and the download kept failing Smiley: mad

Oh well, at least WoW got some love.

Well..lets see..

RL: Sat: I need to go to the comic book store and get my comics. I need to buy a new pair of shoes at work because mine are killing my feet. And I may go see Hunger Games. I've realized that maybe my slight dislike of the books is due to me not reading, but listening to the audio book of the 3 at work. The actress who did the voices sound like she was crying or nagging all the time, and that may have killed a series that I for some reason can describe as "neat, sounds interesting" when I attempt to tell peeps how I didn't enjoy it >.>

WoW: I think I'm going to play Warrior. I need 4 levels to be at cap. He is all prot. I have no idea how to tank anymore...so maybe I get lucky and guildies have some 80s that I can learn with before I random my way to cap (because lvs 10-80 were all done through randoms).
-Still re-learning the game. Having been gone almost a year and a half, some new stuff that I have no idea about is out there.

RL: Bought shoes, comics and some movies. Found out someone I went to school with died in a crash due to a drunk yesterday, kind of been bummed for his family all day (was not a "friend friend" but in a small town, you know all of your High School class).

WoW: Learning how to tank again. Learning the dungeons (because I don't remember, and did them on DK DPS last I played). Made it to 81 and a half.

I'm really sorry to hear that. My cousin's wife was killed by a drunk driver years ago leaving 2 and 4 year-old little girls without their mother. I can only imagine the sorrow and anger your friend's family is feeling.
