hey im getting a new pc built and i wanted to check if some parts would be good enough to run wow:

Any help would be really appreciated because i dont want to spend loads of money and then find out that it dont work :L

Building new pc need opinions on some partsFollow
Since all those specs pretty much make my eyes blur, I can't comment on them; however, I am using an ancient PC with a motherboard I last updated in 2004 iirc. I know the graphics card doesn't support SSE2 (whatever that is) because it has become an issue with SecondLife, the virtual world in which I participate...BUT!!!! My PC runs WoW just fine. No lack in speed that I can tell. I do have the graphics set lower so I don't see real far into the distance, but overall, operates well. I would say those parts will be just fine for WoW. Now people who want a high-powered "gaming machine" may have additional advice, but just running WoW...I'd say you're good!

Try the computer hardware & troubleshooting forum there are some recent build discussions taking place for a couple $500-1000 budgets
I second Gwenorgan -- the Computer Hardware and Troubleshooting forum is a good place for build questions.
Also check out Tom's Hardware: http://www.tomshardware.com/
The articles have great, in-depth reviews based on actual testing, and the forums are good for asking questions. They have a New Build forum here:
