Dungeon Finder: Call to ArmsFollow

I have just returned to the game after a couple months. I have been queuing up in the dungeon finder when the call to arms is available but at least 50% of the time when the screen to accept comes up it takes the bag away regardless of if I clicked it when it was available. Is this a normal thing that has been happening? Does it just decide there is enough tanks or healers so it drops the bag even if it offered it when you click? It's quiet annoying that it just makes the offers but will not give them most of the time. I see sometimes that the wait for healers or tanks can be 5-10 min when the call to arms is up which doesnt make much sense if there are so many aviaiIable why is it even offering the call to arms. I dont mind waiting at all but waiting just to have it take the bag away doesnt make any sense.

Just because when the queue comes up, the bag isn't showing, doesn't mean you won't get it. I've had multiple times when I queue with CtA on both my tank and healers, without the bag showing, and have it sitting nicely in my bags once the dungeon is complete.

ETA: More information will be helpful as well (such as, do you actually run the dungeons, or do you decline because the bag isn't showing when the queue pops up, etc.). I'm also assuming that you are queueing as a tank or healer.

It's based on when you queued up... IF you joined the queue with the bag up you'll get it even if someone joining later wouldn't get it. You agreed to fil the role.
I've been enjoying the satchel though I only get flasks so far... did see a tank yesterday loot the purple text parrot cage... you know the one that goes for 13K gold on my server. I've received the satchel as long as I completed the run that I was joined to when I queued, even if the group falls apart...well I think one DPS was the same.

If your bags are full check your mailbox. I've had the satchel come to me in the mail several times. Withing your 7-satchels-per-week limit. you also have to run and FINISH the dungeon - not just queue for it. I'm sure you know this but the satchel (or later points) is only given for RANDOM dungeons - not if you specify one or two.

I claim nothing like Gwenorgan\'s experience, but my experience is that it doesn't matter whether you started the run with the group or were dropped in just before the last boss - if you are there at the finish, you should get both the prize and the achievement (assuming you haven't already got that achievement on the current toon).

I love it even more getting dropped in on the final boss with the satchel as a carrot leading me to queue... wait why am I posting? It's tuesday I can go earn more valor points by queuing...

But yes the satchel is a reward for completing the run, you must be there as part of the final boss kill (ie don't release until it actually is a full wipe) whether you run from the start or just get the final boss... downing the boss for the dungeon achievement will net you the satchel (it has for me at least)
