WoW Classic(Vanilla) LivestreamFollow

#1 Feb 16 2012 at 8:34 AM Rating: Sub-Default
Hello there fellow WoW players! I've now started up a livestream that I'm having LIVE pretty much whenever I can. So for you who wants to sit back and watch someone else play or for you who wants to have something to watch and listen to while playing yourself, here it is! The stream will always be LIVE when I'm raiding and i'll try to stream as much as I possibly can whenever I'm not raiding as well.

Raid Schedule:
Wednesday - 18.45-23.00
Thursday - 18.45-23.00
Sunday - 18.45-23.00

The raids are done by the guild <Inner Sanctum>, we are finnished with ****** Core & Onyxia and we'll be jumping in to Blackwing Lair this week( 2012-02-16).

Stream Link: http://www.own3d.tv/Elvispen

OBS: This stream is just for entertainment purposes, I'm not streaming because I want to show off some kind of skills or anything in that matter.

- Best Regards Elvi

Wait... did you manage to get a massive group of people to halt xp at 60 or is it a private server?

Or, I don't know, request permission from an admin to post such a link?

Thanks but no thanks

Why? Why stream an MMO? Show off games that are interesting to watch but frustrating to play (puzzle games like Myst/Drawn for example) or that mesh well with commentary (Bulletstorm/Serious Sam). MMOs are the talk radio of streams, and not even the good kind.

To be honest when I'm watching Youtube videos of people video gaming, I prefer that they don't talk.

Chances are, if I watch a gameplay video, I like to focus on the actual... uh... gameplay and NOT some person's voice, esp since most seem to have voices that make me want to dig my ears out with a pencil or similar pointed object.

For me it depends on the game. I watch LPs through Something Awful which tends to have higher standards (for better or worse, I've seen some newbies who just need a bit of polish get harangued into quitting), and it's about matching the style up to the game.

Some have a lot of character in their audio and work well with an LPer who knows when to stop talking (Bulletstorm for example has a lot of good stuff but can do with a bit of commentary in the quieter spots about skillshots and such) while other games put all their stuff on the screen and can be handled in more of a "bros on the couch" style (Vanquish). And of course it also depends on the person doing the talking. Some bad games can be made fascinating by a guy with a good voice and a lot of background information (Research Indicates's Tresspasser LP, look it up, it's amazing).
