Half-assing content?Follow

I've been rather annoyed lately. Where is my content, and why am I being presented with half-assed quests and unfinished encounters, or things where our wonderderful devs just couldn't be bothered to do some minor upgrades?

Well of Eternity. Big huge announcement about infernals raining from the sky. What happens? The damn things just kinda disappear as quick as they arrived.

Rogue legendary quest(s). Starts our great. Sneaking around in Gilneas and eventually killing the boss there was fun and challenging. Now I am expected to grind a huge amount of clusters, only to eventually find out that... I am being sent back to collect even more of the same damn things.

Love is in the air. WTH? They couldn't have an intern bring those necks up to a more current item level like it has been done for all the other holiday boss drops?

Blizzard Store has yet another new mount while my moonkin still looks like crap and they still couldn't make up their minds about whether to automatically shift me to caster form for taxis or not. Awesome.

Where is all this going?

The longer a discerning player plays, the higher their standards will be. Things that may have once entertained you now fail to do so.

You have three choices:

1. QQ (as you have done, bravo)

2. Play something else

3. Find something in-game that you do enjoy doing.

Luckily, #2 doesn't preclude you from #1. Also, about your Moonkin looking like crap. A lot of people (well, me anyway) don't care about player models. I've played games with much nicer player models than WoW, and you know what? They sucked. In the last ~35 years of gaming, since Pong was a hit at bars, graphics have NOT ONCE made a game great.

On the other hand, the longer you play an MMORPG the more likely you are to spend long periods of time doing nothing but staring at your character. To remedy this last problem, try the following

1. Go outside

2. Make friends

3. Enjoy life.

4. Repeat 1-3 until you turn a profit

They say the graphics are awesome, but the quests are lame.

Mostly for RPers, you can get a mount at 16 but flying license is a ***** to get.

It's called real life. It's the most awsome MMO ever. Just stay away from baby making portion. Baby Argo is no fun. Lol

The kill x mob quests are really interesting to finish though.

Oh btw, idk why he op is fussing about this game... He should try ffxiv... If he thinks Blizzard is half adding it... He would then loathe ffxiv. This game is awesome compared to that.

The crafting minigame is a lot of fun, as long as you're careful to fail your crafting until you're ready.

So true. The thing is, if you aren't careful with your crafting, it's the quality of the item that suffers.

my god, though, if you think FF:IV was tedious! this "Real Life" MMO is full of lousy players, the game-economy sucks, and it literally FEELS like a full-time job if you really want to advance to endgame-content.

Those are a walk in the park compared to the escorts. They give you a baby, make you keep it alive and out of trouble for 18-22 years, while it demands food and gold the whole time. You do not even get epic gear for finishing these.

The PVP is also lame. The GM's intervene for the whiners you gank, like, EVERY TIME.

There are BGs though, where you don't get into trouble as long as you gank the nubs your raid leader tells you to.

The problem is that there is no respawn, and RL HP pools are too small. BUFFS PLZ.

Being a GM tho is pretty sweet, and the guild is super exclusive. They have perks no other guild does and their pets are epic.

Root, I like the special weapons GM's get, especially when they become HL, the mounts are pretty sweety too. Very colorful!

You've seen what they did to tree form right? Moonkin form might be a bit boring, but it does have an awesome dance. There's something endearingly goofy about it and unless they changed it to something really cool I'd probably glyph it back (if that's an option) as I've done with tree form.

The other holidays have run in different expansions, so the upgrade has always (afaik) coincided with a rise in level of the item.
