Smiley: sly Seems like it is time for this.

WOW: I made minimal progress towards even the vague expectations I posted.

RL: Air quality in Beijing has been so bad it has been making the news. Consider the barrage of fireworks it takes to accomplish that. I love fireworks but the headache is a bit distracting. Aspirin is one of the food groups, isn't it?

I hope that you all had a more peaceful and productive experience and that all is well with our regular host.

Didn't reply to the weekend goals-thread due to having no access to internet (or even a computer for that matter)
But anyways, here goes.

In WoW I played around with my rogue, he has been 85 for a bit now, and I finally got him to the Hour of Twilight heroics. Been there done that now and with no intention of raiding this expansion I'm done with PvE untill MoP hits. Just doing some random battlegounds and arena now.

Outside of WoW I've just been ejoying the warmth of my house, it's cold outside, so I crawl under a blanket with a cup of coffee..and play WoW of course.

Lunar Festival - visiting elders on alts for free experience.

The end is in sight. Lower level alts have less elders to visit but it also takes them longer to get to them. I only have a few left on my main server.

Daily transmutes and JC dailies.

Doing some old raid Saturday evening maybe.

Did ICC 25 on heroic except for the LK. We ran out of time.

Playing alts.

Not so much. I got a few levels visiting elders but that was about it.

Playing non-wow games.

I played many hours of Morrowind over the course of the weekend.

Friday night wine & snacks. Saturday I need to work on our builtin vacuum motor to see if I get it from hanging up on rotor dead spot, otherwise I'll have to get a new one. Still have some other housework and paperwork tasks that need doing. Maybe we can get out for some walks, if the rain holds off for a bit.
Friday as mentioned. Saturday morning working on vacuum motor, but commutator is worn out too badly, so had to buy a new built-in vacuum and install that. Spouse still not well from cold/flu she picked up from cruise last week, and rain kept us from any walks. But she did make a great big new batch of chocolate chip cookies for getting a vacuum working again.

My tauren druid is at 60 in Outland, and can probably go another level before resting. My 64 BE DK has rested enough, and can continue there as well. Should give a wake-up call to my 80+ alliance toons and see where they need to be going next. We'll see.
Didn't get to either of the first toons mentioned, but instead back to my 83 dwarf paladin to go mining and whip up a set of Vicious Pyrium plate armor for my 85 human warrior. Then to my 85 NE druid to do some Savage Leather skinning for my 80 human rogue to start creating some Vicious Leather for my druid. So lots of farming, and not a lot of questing.

Saturday ran Firelands dailies and Cata dungeons, flew around a lot gathering Ancestor Coins. Finished Elders of Kalimdor, stilll need Dun Morogh, IronForge and Blackrock Depths for Eastern Kingdoms. Haven't even started Northrend yet. Going to have a problem there, thouigh, because I can no longer use the random queue to enter LK dungeons and there are only a couple I feel comfortable soloing. Maybe I can recruit a couple of high-70s - 80ish guildies who want to run them for the same reason.

I plan on reaching level 55 (possibly one or two levels higher if they keep going as quickly as they have been) with my main. *Maybe* I'll give the dungeon locator a try as I have several mobs I'm supposed to kill in Stratholme. I tried entering solo at level 47-ish. Made it past the first wave of skellies outside the gate, but couldn't manage the first wave inside.

Between questing, visiting elders, and the journey to visit said elders, I dinged level 58 and continue to increase my skill in mining as I journey. Had a wonderful time yesterday with a friend visiting a lot of elders and seeing a lot of zones I'd never visited. I have all but two of the Kalimdor coins. Two that I obtained last night I'm especially proud of - Elder High Mountain in Southern Barrens was across from the back gate to Orgrimmar. I *thought* I was staying far enough away from the Horde guards but in a flash I was dead. Returned and noticed there were some Alliance NPC scouts in the area, so I followed their path and went behind the elder instead of traversing the space between him and the Orgrimmar gate. There was still a Horde guard standing to the immediate left of the elder. I stayed way back behind them as I moved to the right of the elder (if one is looking toward the elder from the Org gate) and was able to get the coin and then get the heck out of Dodge.

I probably spent a good 2 hours trying to find Elder Skygleam in Azshara. The bane of my WoW existence is trying to go over, through, or around mountains to get to mobs, and this was a shining example of that frustration, especially having never been in Azshara. Thank to many posts re: how to find this elder, I finally located him after riding completely around the mountains surrounding a huge gulch and swimming the entire circuit *in* the gulch. I would have no earthly idea how to return there but I count this as my best "Elder achievement" thus far!

Only 2 Elders left in Kalimdor but Runetotem is in Horde territory and since I can't fly yet, not sure I can snag that one. Ditto Moon Warden in the Crossroads. I plan on collecting the coins I don't yet have from the Eastern Kingdoms and then go back to those. Errrr....where is Northrend? Is it a WotLK or Cata expac. (Purchased WotLK via Amazon and should be getting it in the next day or so.)

Per advice from a poster I also got my AH alt up a couple more levels with the goal of getting her to at least level 10.

My father has a new PC and needs some help from me in transferring some files from the old PC to the new one, etc. I will inherit his 22" (I think - anyway BIG) monitor. *Does happy dance*

Done. Father's new PC has Win 7 which I had never seen before, so that was interesting. I need to purchase a new PC soon and had been leaning toward a high-powered gaming laptop so I wouldn't be tethered to one location in the apartment and be able to dispense with all the cords involved with a desktop but after seeing his new PC, it may be a good "middle" option between desktop/laptop. It is one of those "all in one" desktops - everything is built into the monitor. It is also wireless internet capable so I could accomplish the same thing I wanted in a laptop.

Ummmm...moving right along....Smiley: blush
