I was wondering if there are any LK dungeons that can be done solo? I have a bored 85 Blood spec DK looking for solo stuff to do. I don't raid and my equpt. level is about 375.

Thanks for any ideas.

Why don't you give a few a try? A lot depends on individual skill and gear. I've never done full clears, but heroic Nexus up to Omorok was easy as a ret paladin and I've been farming the blue proto drake in heroic Utgarde Pinnacle for awhile now. I have guildmates who have soloed Stonecore farming for the mount, so most Northrend content should be easy, especially for a blood DK.

At that level you should be able to solo pretty much everything except maybe Oculus and ToC. (are the vehicle bits soloable now?)

Yeah, if you're doing the dungeons on regular mode you should be able to solo all of them except maybe the ICC ones. On heroic, I'm not sure.

Oculus up to the fourth boss isn't hard (normal mode on my priest, didn't have time to try the last boss) my feral druid managed the first two bosses on normal mode before I ran out of time, so for a DK they shouldn't be too hard.

I didn't have any luck with ToC due to the mount part, but there are videos of people soloing it so I think it just takes a bit of time to learn the strategy.

I would imagine the trick for ToC would be to stay near the mounts along the wall so you can remount every time you get knocked off. Trying to run around too much just opens you up to being charged.

I would say pretty much all that doesn't have a gimmic to the fight. You can also theoretically solo the Lich King btw.

Edit: I should point out that this was done pre-4.3 so I imagine it is probably impossible now. Still an amazing kill none the less. Smiley: tongue

I was soloing H UP up to Skadi for the blue proto soon after I hit 85 on my Shaman. I have done many of the LK dungeons on normal on both my Shaman and my Hunter. About the only one I had trouble with was Violet Hold on my Hunter because of the eyeball boss and his ability that does percentage damage to my Hunter and kills him before I can burn it down (not very well geared).

The amount of hitpoints a level 85 has makes soloing a lot of the LK content super easy. Most mobs just can't put out more damage than an 85 can handle and if you have any sort of self-healing, you should be fine for most fights even on heroic. The ICC dungeons are a bit tougher and so far I've only attempted to do the trash on heroic PoS which I was successful at though I did die once to a debuff through carelessness.
