Our usual host having been working on his computer and his normal deadline having passed, I'm going to risk jumping the gun and getting the weekend goals rolling:

WOW: I'm not sure how much time I'll get to play WOW. I would like to get my hunter into basic Cata gear, run some LFD and herb enough to bump Inscription into a useful range. Once that happens, I'll have to see how things go with various alts. The big challenge (aside from finding play time) will be getting used to a new mouse. I ditched the standard issue Logitech and picked up one by Razer.

RL: The Lunar Festival will give you all a small taste of Spring Festival. The fireworks have already started to ramp up and by midnight on the 22d will reach insane levels. I picked up a bottle of Costieres de Nimes and some cheese, but have at least one bottle of mare's milk spirits in reserve. Several of the fluffy ones have tried to bait me into joining them and at least one has a reasonable chance of making me forget that I'm trying to stay out of trouble. I may also have to figure out how to accommodate yak butter in recipes; the cheese monger gave me a slab to try .

For those who follow the various weekend threads, I'll wish everyone a happy and prosperous Year of the Dragon! The rest of you slackers will have to wait for the inevitable drunkposting later this weekend.

I was going to raid tonight, but decided to go to the City Basketball Tournament instead.

This weekend, I'm just going to kick back. Wander on up to AT and keep working on my third championship (Silvermoon, Orgrimmar and now working on Thunder Bluff). Do a little hunting in Northrend. Borean leather prices are pathetic, but what they'e getting for some meat products like mammoth and shoveltusk is positively sinful. Thank the gods for cooks who are too lazy to hunt on their own. Gonna try and catch a couple of the Wintergrasp battles, do some fishing to finish up my own cooking. Probably a couple of heroic dungeons hoping to boost my gear and pick up some enchanting mats.

Just sorta wander - the kind of runs where you come to a fork in the road and flip a coin to see which ford to take.

WoW- another character to '85, I'll do that in about an hour from posting this, then decide if I want to work on yet another 80+ character or one of the lower ones... profession wise the lower ones make sense. Might try to get some dungeon runs in this weekend too

RL - a family bday to be celebrated this weekend, just picked up a DIY solar robot kit that I hope will trigger an interest in the young lad to working with them. Too undirected right now but if I can spark an interest...
Need to look into a block heater for the vehicle this weeks -45F after windchill was too much for it to take, what I get for bringing a warmer climate equipped vehicle to one with that much cold potential. Choices are a magnetic one that I reach under to attach to oil pan every night or get one actually installed and set up the power cords to have a breakaway connection if someone decides to drive off while still plugged in.

RLx2 - have to troubleshoot a new-to-me laptop too, I did a clean install of Vista when XP/ media center wouldn't boot in any way shape or form, BUT there are no vista drivers that want to work for the sound, so I might have to go back via recovery disks and do an upgrade rather than a clean install... OR I can leave well enough alone and just use it as extra storage so I can go through files. HP Pavilion DV5000 for any that might have tips / tricks :) I was REALLY looking forward to getting it working because of the sound, it's badged with Altec Lansing, which is as I look around what all my external audio devices are for my computers.

It snowed. It's cold. It's going to snow more tomorrow.
My gf is off for a change on the weekend. We're going nowhere and I guess we'll find something to do.
In WoW, Lunar Festival starts Sunday, so I'll probably work on that with my alts.

I don't have too many firm plans this weekend. I will do my usual 'dailies' consisting of transmutes and other cooldown related things. I will probably do Ulduar on Saturday night to help more people out with getting their drakes.

I'd like to put some levels on some alts and maybe drag them through a dungeon or two.

I'd like to get some time in on my non-wow games.

I plan on driving out to visit family on Sunday as usual unless it rains a lot (someone told me we're supposed to get rain this weekend).

RL:
Spouse still on Mexican cruise with sister and her son, returning late Sunday night. Tonight would be wine & snacks, so I'll probably stick to something similar and have pizza and port, and catch up on some shows. Saturday & Sunday will be housework and some other paperwork tasks that need doing.

WoW:
Had spent some more time midweek getting 62 BE DK up to 64 in Outland, but she's had no rest for the last 2 levels, so she needs it now. Also got back to my 57 tauren druid a day ago then got her to 58, so just started her in Outland where she just hit 59 a few minutes ago. Will probably try to get her to 60 this weekend so she can have flight form for her herbing and skinning.

Enjoy!

In game: work on Druid. Reforge some pieces to make for better healing. She keeps running out of mana in dungeons. She's lvl 82, at the moment. And work on her Leatherworking. My main is giving her lots of Savage Leathers.

On my main, maybe run an LFR or two. I bought the 377 PvP shoulders because they were a bit better than the 346's I was wearing. But I'd like to get proper DPS shoulders, and I need a shield upgrade from 346.

Real life: Gonna hit the gym for some cardio. Get a lot of protein. Monday is heavy squat day. Shovel snow (if it stops). Play with my son. Eat more.

WoW: Play some tonight and maybe even tomorrow. Planning on leveling some alts and getting UIs set up on them.

RL: Relax tonight. Tomorrow the usual: bills, laundry, cooking, cleaning. Maybe typing up lesson plans.

Just got word that my spouse and a friend will be making an all-day trip to the Opera in Chicago tomorrow - I don't have to compete for the PC. Lots of WOW - maybe an ear on the football games. Maybe not - I no longer care who wins.
