You know those people who say they wish it could be Christmas every day? Well not me. After this weekend I am exhausted.

I didn't even come close to finishing the build on my new computer, although I did get a nice surprise when my dad gave me a video card which is almost twice as good as the one I wanted. My son loved all of his presents, but it was weird not getting to see him on Christmas day.

On the WoW side of things, I didn't even log on. I decided I'm not playing WoW again until the new computer is up and running, which should be no later than tomorrow night.

How did you guys do on your goals for this weekend?

WOW: Grind Firelands on the DK and do some of the new randoms. Firelands make my eyes bleed, but I like the new randoms. Try to get a couple of levels on the hunter or druid.

I got a couple of levels on the hunter, ground out dailies on the DK ... and then I went berserk. I decided to level the druid to 85 as my celebration. Yay!

RL: I'm in the wrong place for Christmas. About as close as I'm going to get to a Christmas activity is going out for pizza and wine with some of the local expats. Any stockings will have to be looted off of one of the local elves. Hey, wait a minute, things seem better already!

You have to understand that good pizza is scarce here, so it is lucky that I live close to one of the better and less well known pizza places. Christmas Eve went pretty well, the boss/cook went out of her way to prepare an elaborate French cake for dessert. Christmas rolled around and one of the local elves decided to cheer me up. Not only did I get to loot stockings, but I got German and Belgian chocolate with the deal.

WoW - not much happened here, I got a couple things done towards the holiday event but have been otherwise occupied with RL stuff

RL - parties, gifts... including free tickets to the world Jr. Hockey tournament at some point through the week, pretty sweet and totally unexpected, time with family, even while I couldn't be with the rest (other side) Much gallivanting and cavorting. All in all a good weekend, I hope to get more wow time this week as I'm still post-surgery but doing much better.

It was actually a fairly typical weekend for me. Other than the time spent watching my sister's kids and grandkids opening gifts, it almost felt like any other Sunday when I go out to visit with my family.

I didn't raid or anything since my friend decided not to put anything on the calendar because of the holiday. I got several levels on various alts and even leveled a new Goblin Warrior (on another server) from level 1 to 12 so he could get to Org for the presents. I hit 80 on my Draenei Hunter giving me one more alt to do the Greench on. Speaking of the Greench daily, I still haven't gotten the pet on my main but my Troll Hunter has gotten it three times. Why can't it at least be a boa instead of a bop? *sigh* I have also gotten two of the boe daggers so my Rogue now has those equipped.

I didn't get presents really but then I didn't really buy other people stuff either. It kind of works out though since the stuff I buy for myself is usually what I actually want. Heh - I spent quite a bit on Steam games this month.

Sounds about right. Bouncing from house to house with little ones in tow. Then came yesterday which was 'cleanup' day. I'll be happy to be back at work (everyone else is still on break yay!).

As for WoW, didn't do much. A couple of levels on a DK, and picked up my sweater and pets.
