One week until Christmas. It seems so crazy to say that, but it's true. What does everybody have planned for this weekend?

WoW:
Focusing on Skyrim right now, but I wouldn't mind getting a few heroics or a LFR in on my DK. It would be nice to cap VP on him for the 3rd straight week.

RL:
Shopping on Saturday, going to visit out of town family on Sunday since we won't see them on Christmas.

I think we're going to try getting together an Ulduar 25 group again this Saturday night. Last week the group kept failing at Flame Leviathan because too many people didn't know the fight and weren't good at following directions. *sighs*

Sunday night I might get into the second part of Dragon Soul with my guild's main raiding group. I ran with them on Tuesday (despite my gear being barely qualified for the raid finder version) and actually did respectable dps. We cleared 6/8 that night so if I can get home early enough on Sunday (and if they have a spot) then they would like mt to come.

I'd like to see the third of the new heroics as well as try out the LFR version of Dragon Soul.

I hit 85 on my Rogue this week so I'm not sure which alt to work on next. I have so many to choose from. :)

I'd also like to spend some time on my other games. I've been watching Totalbiscuit's Terraria videos and they are terribly funny. It makes me want to play the game though so I may play that though I also really want to work on Morrowind too. Both are games that offer me many opportunities to explore so I may not actually ever get to the end in either one. Heheh

I will be going out to visit family on Sunday as usual.

WoW:

- Since our last raid night we failed pretty hard I hope we get the people together to kill Spine & Madness of Deathwing. We hat our first HC kill in DS (first boss) this ID though which is nice.

- Apart from that make some gold.

RL:

Tonight I will be having dinner with some old friends. Tomorrow there is a good chance I will get pretty drunk with the same old friends. :)
Thus sunday is for recovery.

RL - still recuperating after surgery, finding it rough moving around but I am mobile at least. Still house-bound (winter time snow and ice doesn't combine well with poor mobility so that's a self imposed restriction) but though my SO leaves for a week holidays (I was supposed to go) today, I've got a friend from out of town coming by today and another friend coming by tomorrow so if I need anything they can pick it up.

WoW - Put the push on to get my priest to 85 and then decide what's next... druid? rogue? mage? All 3 are sitting at 80 and just waiting to be picked. I've got 8 days of basically unrestricted play time so I'll be working on the holiday event (achievement already complete on 3 characters from prior years) If my friend is on we may do some more with my lower level characters, just hit BEM with my warrior, and having played a couple chracters solo I know it can be done but it's amazing how just having someone to shoot the breeze with while questing (other than the HORRIBLE gather 30 of these items that only drop 1/4 of the time) that you're both on... besides those quests its awesome and the kills just pile up.
Will look at some profession shuffling too, scribe is done all the minor research so that's not going anywhere, but I really don't need 3 miners or 3 herbalists one doing either is enough. Just a matter of gathering the mats to powerlevel the professions I want, buy off the AH on the cheap points. Sell some more enchants, I've made 1000g a day from enchants since 4.3 dropped the only hold-back being celestial essences and heavenly shards... Oh yes and I'll see about flipping some hypnotic dust I scored at 12G a stack this week when it sold for 30G a stack last week, free money? yes please.
Kind of no real plan as yet, it depends on how my material farming goes (the cataclysm cloth is still too infrequent of a drop - though I suspect I might see more of it if I were running dungeons) and whether someone else is on or not to do anything on the low-levels.

And wow that was long, ah well, I'm excited to have some play-time.

WoW = PvP and Firelands dailies (just unlocked them for the first time!) Smiley: grin Also need to choose another alt already. I'm leaning to finishing my mage.

RL = Family here both days, lots of stuff to finish up. Trip to the post office, probably other stuff.

WOW: Continue with the Winterveil IQ Test. What's that? Well, one puts iced milk on the AH at 95 silver each and small eggs at 7g80s each (in lots of 5). Yep, I'm over 3K gold so far, and I've sold more than one stack of iced milk. [Time to farm eggs -- roughly 50 minutes for 8 stacks. Time to farm iced milk -- erm, long enough to Ghost Wolf from the inn to the AH?

Indeed. Get well and let's drink to it.

See about getting the Alliance druid to 80 and possibly push the hunter to see how close to Outland I can get him.

RL: It is cold and windy here. I aspire to stay inside and stay warm; the cold isn't playing well with old injuries.

Finally turned over level 85 on my hunter last night. I think I'm going to take a day off and go fishing in places where the fish bite well and the monsters hide when they see me coming. probably level my fishing (now about 150), buy some embersilk and max my first aid (about 519 presently).

Once that's done, back to the grind. Still need to build my gear up from my present 290-something so I can't even get into the best normal dungeons. Also, want to start raiding but my guild pretty much insists on a 329 minimum gear level. Where's the best place to find the 320+ stuff, or should I just keep rerunning those CATA dungeons that I can access and hope I get lucky on the drops?

Welcome to the gear grind. Start by running regular Cata dungeons until you can do heroics. They give ilvl 333 gear if i'm not mistaken. Once you can start running Cata heroics which give 346 gear. Once you get a high enough item level you will also start getting into the troll heroics in the heroic finder. Troll heroics give 353 gear. Again once your a high enough ilvl start doing the Hour of Twilight heroics which give 378 gear. All the while spend any Justice and Valor points you get at the vendor for more quick upgrades. You can also try the AH if you are willing to spend the gold.

As for goals for the weekend I am on winter break so I don't really plan on doing much. I have my LFR done on both toons and VP capped on both. Might do 3v3 with some guildies Sunday, but other than that nothing planned.
