So I mogged all the warrior tank gear to the cheap Brutal PvP set when the feature became available. Tanked my way through the new dungeons a couple times and kept picking up the DPS pieces on the side whenever nobody wanted them.

So here I stand at the Bank in Stormwind, thinking that maybe I should Outfit(ter) the new stuff, and suddenly realize that all the plate gear matches. I put on the cloak (and I love the new model with the split bottom) and it matches too.

So all that was missing was to take good ol' Doombringer ot of the bank and slap it's brownish-purple texture onto my sword. Done.

Looks damn nice, and with the majority of people going for the truly old looks, you actually stand out wearing these things.

Just saying... even if you don't necessarily need the gear for it's stats anymore, you might want to gather and collect anyway and void-store things away for later.

Transmogrification is confusing the hell out of me. I keep seeing all these people in legacy gear and wondering where all the twinks came from.

When someone is tanking my dungeon in PvP gear, I have to inspect them first to see if they're transmogrified or just bad. Sometimes they're both.

Ha ha, yeah. It's a bit annoying that there's no quick way to tell if someone is wearing PVP or PVE gear now.

IMO transmogrification is good for exactly two things. Turning guns into not-guns, and turning helms into BC engineering goggles.

I'm really enjoying this feature actually. My mage is running around in a admirals hat and matching outfit. If I get an upgrade that doesn't fit with the rest of my gear I can just transmog. Platekinis are back in style. My alts aren't horrible concoctions of mismatched greens and blues anymore.

I'm actually hoping this means there'll be a greater variety of armor next expansion. WotLK and Cata leveling sets pretty much all look the same as the level before them, maybe with a recolor or something. It'd be nice to see more variety now that keeping different sets looking decent together is less of a concern.
