So my guild finishes the new raid run tonight, my hunter grabs a nice staff off the sleeper. We run a LFR afterwards, get the raid finder version of the deathwing agi staff. (No didn't steal from any feral druid) Now running the sims shows that the regular agi staff wins by 200dps however as a tauren anything that makes me larger is very sought after. Is 200 dps down worth getting to be huge 12% of the time? DPS could probably be made up by staff proccing with matrix restabilizer+ rapid fire. But I usually like higher average dot instead of better burst. Waaaahh new gear is hard.

I you finished the current raid, i say go for it because size matters!

Or keep the Viagra staff for farming content that doesn't require you to push out the best you can possibly do and the theoretically stronger staff for progress fights. Smiley: nod
