Just found this and don't recall any recent discussion of it here. Looks like fun, but maybe pretty time consuming. What do you think, is it worth the time investment, or should I just move on to Mt Hyjal?

It's got some rewards if you're a pet collector, it hasn't been touched (lately) on here because it's old content. I might get around to it soon, see if my connection allows me to win jousts now. It's quite a time sink like leveling fishing if you want to "do it all"

But for where you 'should' be working check the hero's board in any racial capital... pre 80 they have different zones they'll be sending you to.

If you have never done any thing there its worth some time..but the only real xp is from quest turn ins if your at 80 plus.

There's the argent horse mount you can buy but that's after you complete all your factions quests and become exalted with all your cities (except worgen or goblin) and it opens up a vender in the Argent tent..It cost 150 champion seals which you can start to obtain before getting the vender to sell to you and that same vender has some BoA gear.

But at least doing the one time quests and maybe getting through one of your factions is worth it IMO.

( EDIT) Forgot about the pets.. but each city has a unique colored mount as well, so like everyone said unless your into experiencing all you can pets, mounts and achievements are the only real reason to do them.

It's worth it if you're an achievement/pet/mount collector. Otherwise, continue onto Hyjal.

Don't go to Vashj'ir. Pretend that place doesn't exist.

With the linear questing in zones anyway, I'm off to vash'jir with my next character that hits these levels, I've just had too much of Hyjal for the time being though it's a must if you want Firelands.... so... I'll end up doing them anyway I just need a different start to questing. Having too many characters and being a completionist sucks as you see all of each zone anyway.

Also, the tabard is a useful "get to Northrend quick" button if you have your hearth set elsewhere and don't want to spend 8k for the ring that is now yesterday's headlines.

A couple of the items might be worthwhile transmorgrification sources as well.
