I can't find the actual patch notes anywhere and most people are just talking about the new features and new dungeons... but...

Did the lowering of XP needed for 70-80 (Northrend) get implemented?

Also, any of you have a link to the actual 4.3 patch notes?

Quote:
Improved Outland & Northrend Quest Flow

The amount of experience needed to gain levels 71 through 80 has been reduced by approximately 33%.
Many Group quests in Outland and Northrend have been re-tuned to allow players to complete them solo. They are no longer labeled as Group quests.
Relevant questgivers have been moved into Outland and Northrend dungeons. The majority of dungeon quests for these zones are now available from within their respective dungeons.

After outfitting my human warrior in full i358 Bloodthirsty plate gear crafted by my dwarf paladin a few weeks ago, I found that all of my Bloodthirsty patterns (cloth through plate) across my toons have changed to i377 Vicious patterns. I remember reading (here) that better patterns would be available, but I expected to have to purchase them rather than have them changed in my crafting list. That's a good thing, but now I'll have to gear up my warrior again.

They did this last season, too, when the crafted PvP gear was upgraded to iLevel 358.

i think this is new since 4.3, but I only see my debuffs 'n dots (serpent sting etc) on the targets portrait now, not the whole party. This is in the new 5 man heroics, haven't had a chance yet to do much of the new raids.

Unless of course everyone I've been grouping with lately is terribad and just auto attacking.......

I don't know if this presages the demise of the camel figurine but the Steam Pools in Feralas where you get ported to fight the camel miser is now populated by a goblin resort.

I first discovered it flying around Feralas just after Cata and it was totally barren. Now it has "Resort Staff", guests and lots of things. No quests I could see though.

The camel thing could still be instanced or phased (I guess it always was).

I dual-box, and noticed that each of my toons was only displaying their own debuffs on the target as well, so, guess it's an undocumented change.

That's been there since Cata was released.

There's an option to disable that. It likely got turned on in the patch, like the mature language filter.

ahhhhhhhhhhh, thank-you, found and corrected it.

Yeah, the mature language bug is pissing me the **** off... it's incredibly annoying having to turn the damn thing off every. single. time. I log in to a character.

For some reason only my debuffs are on the target????

Ok - i generally play mage/tankadin.

I noticed tonight that the only debuffs I'm seeing on the boss are my own.

So, for my tankadin - I only saw about three things on the boss.

Is this normal?

When I logged into my Engineer, I discovered that all of the copper tubing, modulators, bolts, etc. she had in her bank/bags had turned into grey junk items, and they can no longer be made. She's not using copper anymore, but I was still mildly annoyed. Smiley: disappointed

As I say I went there after Cata and it was barren. However on research it apparently went in on 4.1 so I'm wrong anyways Smiley: smile

There is now a search option for your backpack and bags.

When you open your backpack, there is a search box at the top of it.

Don't know if this is new or undocumented of if I just missed it and never noticed it before.

It's new, and I'm pretty sure it's in the patch notes.

Yep, second one down under UI changes.

A feature which has been present in many bag mod addons (I use TBag) for some time.

Or, in other words, addons are just alpha test suites for new official Blizzard UI features.

And even then, addons still often do it better.

Every time my alt levels it kicks him out of the LFD queue. I don't remember having this problem before 4.3.

I was in a fail LFG group today and a guildie offered to come dps. I was group leader so I tried to invite him and received the message "you cannot invite someone while in a random dungeon group". Granted, I don't use LFG very often, but I seem to recall being able to invite someone in the past.

Maybe they did that to prevent players' whining when they lost Mystic Satchels because they had a fail player and invited someone to the group (then finished the dungeon and DIDN'T get a satchel).

I have no idea if this was just done in last patch or been in awhile, but I noticed this morning that I joined queue on my shaman for LFG..decided to work trade skills instead after an 8 minute wait...camped to my pally to mail stuff to my shaman, came back on my shaman and was still in queue...I got the popup for group 6 minutes later...

Not sure if it is Patch 4.3 or not, but I noticed that when you report a player for spamming, their spam is automatically erased from your chatlog as soon as you do.

I really like this change. I was queued with a guildie last night and he kept dc'ing. Normally that would drop queue and you'd have to start over, but we stayed in queue each time (he dc'ed like, 4 times).
