I didn't see any archeology changes mentioned in the patch notes, but you can now get up to 9 fragments per dig. Giddy up!

Anyone find any other good ones so far?

Shifting out of flight form now instantly caps you at normal run speed. No more cannonballs.

There are actually druids who feel this is worth quitting over. I'd say "don't let the door hit them on the way out" but after the change the floor will hit them first.

I haven't found any good ones, but Judgement no longer auto attacks and it drives me crazy. I don't recall seeing this in the patch notes.

I've got a few weird ones... items like This dagger were in my PALADIN's bags waiting for the AH price to go more favorable on it (we get pretty wide swings in item costs on my servers AH) but when I looked today it's soulbound... on a character that can't equip daggers.

Darkflight icon change threw me, thought I failed to put it on my hunters bar, until today when I realized that it was a new icon when I was on my druid and I know right where it is on the druid.

The mini-map changes were confusing at first (the track certain things icon, seems like extra clicks to get it but it's nicely condensed now) and I've got to go through more banks for items that I'm sure were white before 4.3 but are grey now.

I bought two weapons for my rogue that have been sitting on my DK and one of them is also now soulbound.

Some of my Justice points turned to "Honor Points"

I don't see anything in my currency screen but Justice/Valor - I have no idea where the Honor vendor is - unless they are talking about Wrath stuff - but that makes absolutely no sense. This is all on an Alt who is 85, and is partially geared - so I have spent at least a few 1,000 JPs - there is no way that these were JPs earned in Wrath.

Nerf fun.

This "nerf" is the result of Blizzard changing how momentum is handled in the game. I have no idea why they'd change something like this, but sometimes they nerf fun because... well, because it's too much fun.

Keeping their customers in a constant state of mild unhappiness apparently works for them.

12 million 10 million players agree.

On topic, they gave a lot of holiday items durability, which I didn't notice until it interfered with me trying to Void Store them. It was mildly annoying.

I hadn't noticed the change to flight form but now that I have it does make me a sad panda.

Yeah not just holiday items either, but they changed durability on a number of things (or at least I'm assuming they did). There were other old items I moved to void storage that needed to be repaired first. Finally remembered by the 3rd trip... Smiley: lol

I find the durability thing annoying. I don't get why you have to repair stuff to put it in Void Storage. It would make no sense for people to put items in storage to avoid repairing them, if they're worried about people trying to game the system. For one, it costs 25g per item to store, and for another, they remove all enchants and gems from stuff. So yeah, it's dumb.

Put in a ticket.

The BoE thing is a well-known bug on o-boards.

Just be thankful that it is an item that is impossible to equip.

Some GMs have refused to make them BoE again because according to their records, it was equipped the moment it was picked up and they didn't believe the player. Your case, however, you can simply say "Paladins cannot equip daggers" and then the GM would know that this was the result of a bug.

The Track Quest POI is very buggy at the moment, sometimes it is there, sometimes it isn't and you have to actually open the map and click on the quest you want to track actively... I hope they tweak this in a future patch.

I had quite a few things in the mail waiting to DE. In the mail when I mouse over they show durability 0/XXX but when I take them out into the bags they show full health.

I believe the main purpose was to counteract charge/intervene-jumping, which could be used to sploit some BGs.

yeah the durability thing was a big nuisance when I wanted to void store some stuff... my stein was damaged? ok maybe through heavy use for its intended purpose but c'mon... AND I had a bunch of AH sales that failed, they won't let you POST items for sale if they need repaired, yet they come back from the AH broken? thanks blizz... thanks.

ETA - yes I submitted a ticket as soon as I saw it, but with their estimated time of 2days and 1 hour before i got "seen" I did what I was there to and logged, assuming that they'll get around to it, if not I'll just re-submit some time when I have more time, Paladin was the last character I visited before I logged off.

I had a durability loss of 30-50% on every piece of gear my lock was wearing, but when I repaired it, it was a grand total of 57 silver. I think I won't be pointing this out to Blizz.

Minor thing, but do the scrolls for chants look different to anyone else?

The scrolls do have a new graphic. They can also be vendored now which may be an update I never noticed before. I was really excited when I saw the new graphic and got my hopes up that my enchanter would be able to make stacks of enchants like every other profession. Wishful thinking I guess.

I didn't see this in the notes but the dressing room (when you Ctrl+click on gear to see what it looks like on you) has new functionality. Put your cursor over the window and buttons appear at the top. You can zoom in and out, move your character around/up and down and get a much better look at particular areas to see what things look.

One thing I've noticed is Warlock's Soul Harvest now ticks more times during the channeling of the spell with each tick healing less. Before you got three large ticks during the channel duration. Not really a big deal, but it's nice to know that I don't have to wait as long to get some benefit from the spell.

Paladin's Shield of the Righteous now has a distinctive sound effect.

BG countdown before start now has a sound effect for the last 10 seconds.

Under "User Interface"

Quote:
Added new rotation, zoom, and pan controls are now available in all windows with player models in UI frames.

It is nice. About stinkin' time.

PvP will be the end of this game.

Fishing skill ups.
You used to get fishing skill ups after a set number of casts depending on your fishing skill so once you got up fairly high in fishing, it always took quite a few casts to get the next skill up.
Now the number of casts per skill up seems to be more random so even people with 300+ fishing can get two skill ups in two casts or it could take 10 or so casts. It was my boyfriend who noticed this one and later I read about it on the O-boards.

I hadn't heard about the boe gear thing but most of my stockpiled gear for alts or AH is in a bank guild or on a low level character who wouldn't be able to equip any of it.

I notice that the "Thieving Little Pluckers" quest daily in Uldum now kills 6 per hit even though only three pygmies are visible. The first time I couldn't figure how I was done so fast so today I watched closely. One stack of 3 pygmies = 6

I guess it'll get patched out though

I noticed this last nite.
TBH... I really didn't mind having to kill all those little pluckers.

I can't find the actual patch notes anywhere and most people are just talking about the new features and new dungeons... but...

Did the lowering of XP needed for 70-80 (Northrend) get implemented?

Also, any of you have a link to the actual 4.3 patch notes?
