And then you start doing this on a more regular basis, with more people you know. And before long, you'll start to expect them to think for themselves just a teeny tiny bit and that's where the brain scarring starts.

The only issue I've had with the LFR so far has been pulling before anyone had the time to either read, ask, or actually explain. Not very dramatic, though, since the difficulty of the fights actually allows for those things.

What I don't like so much is that the whole thing doesn't feel like actual raiding, but instead like a bunch of VoAs and BHs tied together.

The benefits far outweigh the negatives, though.

No matter what time it is, what spec you're in, and how good or bad you skills are - there is a place for you.

No loot drama involved either. See something you like, hit the "Need"-button, and the system will sort things out. It doesn't seem right when people end up winning more than 1 roll on a single boss, so I think somehow they should limit that. But given the overall feel of a loot piñata, it doesn't even matter all that much.

Oh... and the whole "LFM for whatever-raid, have whatever achievement and ilevel and have yourself inspected"-crap has pretty much disappeared from the trade channel. That alone is plain awesome.

I haven't had any huge issues with LFR, as far as the fights themselves. People are still learning the fights. The main issues are the same old issues of what people are lotting on, which I guess is just a personal preference issue, since Blizzard allows them to Need on these items.

Mages/'Locks Needing on Spirit gear and healing trinkets, DPS Needing on tanking items. Players Needing on gear that is a significant downgrade because they like the look for transmogrification. I understand why they do it, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. It's just a game, and I don't get upset for more than a couple seconds anyway, so whatever.

Amusingly, it's usually the guy who is complaining about the DPS sucking who is Needing on DPS downgrades for the transmogrification look. The DPS wouldn't necessarily suck so hard if you'd let them upgrade their gear instead of taking it purely for visuals. ;)

It's true, it feels like it's just several boss fights strung together. I don't get the sense of awe that you get traversing other raids.

I do really like being able to run them on my Frost DK. It seems that no raiding guilds are ever in need of DK DPS.
