Yeah, it affects Mending since it doesn't have a fixed PPM rate.

Also, I'm pretty sure a Death Knight would prefer to Runeforge the weapon rather than slapping Mending on it.

Wait, level 80 mobs are green at level 85? Smiley: jawdrop

On a slightly different note, has anyone soloed anything lately with a Feral Druid? I'm curious how effective they are. Leader of the Pack provides a decent chunk of "passive" self-healing and shifting out and throwing HoTs when there's a break in combat sounds like it could be very efficient.

I'm just afraid that even with 2/2 Nurturing Instinct, Feral Druid healing is luls.

Yes, they are.

You still get the full daily gold out of Northrend Dailies, and the mobs are indeed green and DO count as "a kill that grants experience or honor" for things like Victory Rush, Glyph of Dark Succor, and Crusade.

Northrend Dailies are a LOT easier than anything in Firelands or Tol Barad and you still get the same amount of gold out of them.

Gold per Hour, doing 25 Northrend Dailies (probably Argent Tourney + Knights of the Ebon Blade is close enough) gets you better GpH than doing Firelands dailies, because you kill the mobs in one hit instead of beating down 70-150k health mobs that can actually hurt you.

BTW: Low-manning Wrath Heroics is nice gold if you can handle it. I've solo'd some of the "first heroics" with my Prot Paladin. Not to mention, abyss crystals are ridiculously easy to get, and things like Blade Ward still sell nice.

I prefer soloing TBC bosses for gold as you get 250g per boss kill, plus trash coins and items. Battle for Mount Hyjal is pretty easy, or at least the first four bosses are. First two bosses in The Eye are also pretty easy. I've made 2k gold in a day when I took my Shaman out for some transmogrification gear hunting.

Didn't they nerf some of those, though?

I've always been curious of how do-able those could be duo'd, wanted to try Scale of the Sands/Deathsworn rep but didn't know if it was viable to do with 2 people.

Battle for Mount Hyjal is hard to duo, mainly because one of the bosses applies a debuff on a random person, killing that person (debuff can't be avoided, except for Divine Shield and Ice Block, I think). You can solo the boss because the debuff never targets the person with aggro.

I found this out while doing the Hallow's End Candy buckets.

I got to the Wyrmrest Temple and saw a yellow ! after I had gotten the andy bucket. I flew up to the top and realized it was Chromie's level 80 quest. I checked to make sure I didn't have "track low-level quests" on and realized then that level 80 quests were still green at 85.

Not sure why you'd want to solo all that stuff, but it can be fun every once in a while, but not nearly as fun when done at the appropriate level in a group. I find WOW is getting too solo friendly. I'm wandering around in the old world right now, and all these towns are empty. I'm only here as a waypoint to farm some medium leather. I love lfg, but I admit I spend most of my time in Stormwind on lfg. It's the fastest way to level. It's just sad the world is empty right now. I miss the old days. As for solo stuff, I like my druid, but I do tend to die with him more than I should. Paladin seems sturdier to me, but the versatility of a druid is very nice to have.

Sometimes, you come Late to the Party and want to experience the old content.
Sometimes, you want to grind rep achievements after the expansion is already done.
Sometimes, you didn't get an opportunity or you weren't high enough geared while it was current content.
Sometimes, you just can't find a non-fail raiding guild that can actually handle the content.

Lots of reasons.
