@Maz: Now I want to know more about the scandalous things you've done in the past here. You must have been very naughty if you're that close to being banned. =x

Not some of my proudest moments. I stumbled into the Asylum on accident, completely failed at understanding the internal jokes there, got baited into trolling like a freak and subsequently got destroyed by Asylum posters and admin alike. In the end I had a moderator - Kao, I believe - nuke my old user and I created Mazra. I then moved here, got Sage by making some guides and helping out newbies, lost Sage to Sub-Scholar when a certain someone who still posts here revealed my new username to the Asylum (Smiley: glare). 5-10k posts later I was back at Scholar.

The rest you know. Smiley: tongue

Eh, what? I've wondered into the wrong classroom again? I'm normal and boring and have no idea what you young folks are talking about.

Party? Great, one of the tui na ladies went back to Jilin to work in a distillery and I still have a few liters of booze that I got as part of her going away bash. Let me lay in a stock of the Mongolian air dried beef, maybe an extra bottle of distilled, fermented mare's milk and I'm ready for the weekend!

It's been a long time. Don't remember exactly what I did, except I got into some pretty heated arguments with Skeeter and those guys. I'd basically start to QQ about anything the moment they started rating me down.

Kind of didn't know about the first rule of karma back then. Or maybe I did and just didn't follow it. Anyway, I got smacked and looking back I can say I deserved it. That said, though, they should definitely add a warning label to the Asylum. I've seen other posters tumble in there and get destroyed for good because of it.

I think I've posted two or three times in the Asylum since then. Every time I want to post, I don't. I'm afraid I'll get camped to oblivion again. Definitely left an impression. Smiley: tongue

Yeah the Asylum scarred me a bit too lol. They do have a sort of warning label on it though. It says "Not for the faint of heart" somewhere.

I had a similar experience back in 2005. I wandered in there and saw people dissing on Canadians. Being the gooey-hearted liberal that I am, I raged at them and got karma camped. I even set Kao a pm whining about it and he basically told me I deserved it, but still restored my karma rating. I still have that pm. Smiley: grin After that I kept to the FFXI boards, and then the WoW boards when I switched games, until I started posting in the OoT out of boredom, and had a few of my threads moved back to the Asylum for being inappropriate. >.> I still go and read the Asylum and post there on occasion, but not very often.

The "warning" label is on the Forums page, which no one probably visits since the drop-down menus were implemented.

See, I've actually been here for a long time, but I don't post enough to feel like anyone knows me, and it's weird to introduce yourself to people when you have a green name(last time I checked) :P

I've always been bad at this partying...crap. (We're not supposed to swear in this section, are we :P)

Asylum seems pretty tame as of late honestly, but I suppose I'm not exactly the confrontational type anyway. Smiley: rolleyes

Citrus, feel free to swear as much as you want really. The censor covers up the "naughty" words we aren't supposed to say, so I wouldn't worry about it. That's what I do anyways. I usually get yelled at for subject matter, not the words I use. =x

Nothing, nothing at all. Don't mind me...

Smiley: um

Really it wasn't the rate-down happy insult fest I was led to believe.

Come on over. Pull up a cup of fermented mare's milk, have some dried beef and introduce yourself. Think of it as playing along with the thread. You wouldn't want folks to think you're some kind of strange, stalker type peering in the windows, would you?

Asylum makes me giggles, just a bunch of wannabe. Some actually thing they are smart, but they are failures in RL…just saying. Kids are wasting times on forums trying to boost the ego, creating this fictional power with cool avatar and don't do homework. Mothers who should get things done at home instead of trolling internet. Get a life peeps with your 30,000 posts!

***** them all, I don't know them and don't give a s hit about them. Go get a job!
