...you are the loud kid in a big class of shy people? Cause I feel like that is what most of the posters here are.

We post incessantly while voyeuristically the lurkers read from the corners.

So... what this makes us all... is a freak show.

I like to think of it as a party where a group of long-time friends are sitting at a table, drinking, cracking jokes, laughing and drinking while the rest of the party-goers stand around looking at us, wanting more than anything to be able to join in on the fun.

And yes, I mentioned drinking twice. It's important like that.

*Hands Mazra a Beer*

I can dig that Maz. I feel that we put on a good show either way. I like being the freak show. You know stick with what you are good at.

I'm the wallflower.

I'm hanging out over in the corner by the window; just talking to the nerdy girl and rolling my eyes at the loud people.

Smiley: rolleyes

There's never an attractive nerdy girl at the parties I go to. And if there is, the attractive nerdy girl is busy pretending to be just attractive, not nerdy as well.

Come to think of it, there aren't many nerdy girls at those parties at all. Don't think I've ever had a chat with a gamer chick at a party.

I should go to video game conventions more. You get drunk, talk about video games, flirt with nerdy chicks and beat up people for wearing t-shirts with the wrong faction logo.

I'm all for the drunk part, but I prefer to just read the posts mostly. If someone asks a question and I actually have an answer to it, someone most likely has already answered it. Also not having to many posts and none being of any real content, I feel uncomfirtabe making smartass remarks at longtime posters as I feel I have not (sounds corny I know) earned that privilege yet.

See, it's weird Monkey. You earn the privelege by, well, earning the privelege. It's like early on you have to pick your spots and make sure the one-liners are good otherwise you end up like Raw.

Once you made a couple of godo ones you kind of get accepted and nobody cares if your next 10 fall flat. Kind of like Metallica (or Pearl Jam, OMG Pearl Jam) and their discography, ya know?

I'm proof that anything can happen on this board. I've gone from Sage to Sub-default to Sage ever since I started posting here. Took 30k posts, but still... anything can happen.

If I was remotely geographically close to you... or it was not creepy to get addresses for all of you... I would make up T-shirts for everyone that said:

Better get started if you want to get back to Sub-Default before you go all TILT like Joph.

Pigtails, I should have been more clear. Being a Freak Show is great, I find comfort in being part of a group of folks that don't mind dancing on the grand stage of the internet to supply chuckles to anonymous nerds who wish to keep their fingers still in place of dancing with us.

I get banned long before I'd reach Sub-Default. If we're counting strikes, let's just say I'm out next time.

Oh I know. I was just being silly. Smiley: grin

@Maz: Now I want to know more about the scandalous things you've done in the past here. You must have been very naughty if you're that close to being banned. =x

Can a newbie poster like me get a seat at the big kids table if I say all your beer is on me :)

Double the beer for Marza though.
