Joining Wow againFollow

about 1 year ago i quit wow and froze my account, it was up to wotlk. Recently i wanted to start again, i have upgraded it into a 10 day trial and i have downloaded the full game client, my account is up to cataclysm trial so i was curious if from here it is only necessary to purchase cataclysm so i then have the key to upgrade my account and i wanted to know if just that purchase brings me up to date and if it is necessary to buy any previous games? Any help on this very specific question would be appreciated.

If you're using your old WotLK account you should only have had to purchase cataclysm to continue. Doesn't really matter, someone that is only BC enabled at this point has all the game data for cataclysm anyway, it's just their license not allowing them to the additional area (LK, Cata)

thanks for the quick response, even though i have uninstalled all the programs it only requires one of the expansions then?

Are you logging in using your old account? The licenses are account bound, if you've paid up to LK on an account it will forever have that, just depends if you pay your monthly subscription fee if you can actually get at it to play or not.

If you're starting a new account you'll need key for vanilla (something was said recently about BC being included now?) LK and cata.
