Sure we all get the occasional "click link or your account will get locked" emails from time to time. The one I just received in my junk email made me laugh pretty hard.

I'm more entertained by the ones that actually try hard and are difficult to detect. Obvious ones like this just bore me.

I'm just the opposite Pigtails. The hard to tell ones are boring. It's the ones that are almost hard to read that make me smile.

I got one email after visiting this site (and it was the first time I been to this site in over a year, so that's how I knew it was this site). They must have had an unscrupulous advertiser.

I got one in game saying there were irregularities with my account, and asked me to visit a Blizzard web page (it might have said Battle.net webpage). It looked very legit. I reported the guy who sent me the whisper though. His name was like Blizzard with a letter in front (CBlizzard or something like that). The message seemed like it could be true. There might be a problem with my account.

I didn't actually go to the link. I had recently activated my account after a loooong absence, so I thought maybe my account is screwed up. And during that absence I merged my accounts with battle.net. I never knew for sure how the merge went until I just recently restarted wow.
