Bahahaha, I take back everything bad I've ever said about the Druid T13.

Dear Paladins,

I'm sorry...

Sincerely,
Maz

I actually liked Season 2's orange...although not when actually using it in Battlegrounds. Bright orange healer while everyone else had darker armor sets. It screamed "GANK ME!".

I actually don't mind the paladin helmet. I don't know if I'd show it, but I get the theme. I've seen it before (outside of WoW). Can't put my finger on it. But it doesn't seem too strange to me. Then again I have a female Draenei. Just about anything looks good on her.

Paladin Red Bull Gives You Wings Helmet is funny, but at least it isn't a funny hat and a dress like previous tiers.

I play a female draenei paladin so I actually liked the dresses. Yet another reason why I roll only female toons. Rarely is their an armor schema that looks totally ridiculous.

Oh come on. You know you just like watching that butt jiggle.

I don't know what it is about the Draenei females, but they make me start thinking like a 13 year old boy who just started to notice girls. Smiley: drool

I think it's kinda cool they're trying to do something different for each class; trying to make them true to themselves. It's a change from lighting everyone's gear on fire, or putting skulls on everything.
I just want a flaming skull without a hood so I can buy a mechanohog.
You'd need to be Nick Cage for that.

And nobody wants to be Nick Cage.
Only if we require it be the movie version.
But the movie version is to hilarious not to require it.

At least we don't get a freaking dress this time.

Actually I don't mind the paladin look that bad. All you gotta do is hide the helm (and even It isn't That bad) and the rest is fairly nice.

We finally get a set of armor that actually makes the person look like a holy warrior, it is all silver and gold-ish type color, instead of looking like all the other sets for whatever theme it is supposed to be.

And...

At least we don't get a stupid dress.

Can't emphasize that enough.

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if this set would eventually end up in my void storage for transmog.

The dress thing again? Really? When was the last time the Paladin class got a "stupid dress" as tier armor? I'm looking at the tier sets here and I can only find one that would qualify as a dress, but we already covered that on the previous pages.

And I'd rather have my Paladin wear a "dress" than T13. Maybe if they didn't make the leg armor so... tight, I might change my mind, but I'm getting sore just looking at the way that plate armor is hugging the thighs and private parts.

Priest T13

It looks cool, although, I wish it was a hood instead of the pointy thing, but that said, it's not the worst Tier set ever.

Just realised why I like the face mask thing so much, it reminds me of this

I really really like Priest.

The faces look to me a lot like Venetian masks or something. The set itself gives me the impression of that mixed with a dash of Spanish Inquisition. Like, it looks to me like something a judge would wear to trial, or what the executioner would wear. Or something. Something that is designed to keep the face covered and unidentifiable, similar to how an executioner's mask would show only the eyes. The intent was to give the "justice is blind" feel, that this is the law and not anything personal. I could imagine this tier being called something similar to "Arbiter" or "Inquisitor".

A lot of people are probably going to think "demon clown" or something, but I really like it. Not crazy about the Statue of Liberty points, but it's by far one of the better sets.

Edit: The females with helm showing will have facial hair. Just realized that.

Edit 2: The set is called Dying Light for priests, Wyrmstalker's for Hunters.

The masks actually remind me of the mask boss in BT, but they do look quite a bit like Venetian masks too now that you mention it. I like it. I'm not thrilled with it, but I like it.

I went back and looked at previous priest tier sets, since that's one of the two alts I'm leveling right now. I think my favorite set is tier 5.

The Hunter set looks amazing.

IMO tier 5 had some of the best looking sets across the board (except for paladins.)

And hunter. Hunter T5 is one of the greatest abominations of a tierset ever.

I don't like the Priest set though it has nothing to do with the helm or shoulders. I just don't like the bi-colored robe design though it's possible that it will look better on a more slender race. Male Humans make lousy armor models.

I haven't decided about the Hunter one yet. I need to see it from more angles and again, I need to see it on something other than a Human male. Of course for me, nothing compares to Dragonstalker on Hunters. :)

******* called it.

Quote:

Priests (and paladins for that matter) are often the most challenging classes to design ‘badass’ armor sets for, in contrast to the death knight and warlock, whose underlying concepts demand the unquestionably cool dark and sinister approach.

In this instance, however, the design asked for a bold, two-tone, ‘Venetian carnival style with creepy, soulless black eyes,’ which gave me a powerful, potentially edgy direction to explore. The set’s ‘Dying Light’ theme was visualized as a spiked, setting sun motif.

It would be badass if the coloring was altered in Shadowform. The black eye color turning bright white or something...
