Here some idea for actors:

Sylvanas Windrunner: Emma Watson

Arthas: Gerard Butler

King Varian Wrynn: Russel Crowe

Vereesa Windrunner: Taylor Swift

Rhonin: Brad Pitt

Malfurion Stormrage: Liam Neeson

Your turn!

My Worgan Hunter: CGI, voiced by Bruce Campbell.

Liam Neeson as Malfurion is about the only good suggestion you have there Raw. And maybe Gerard Butler as Arthas. Emma Watson is entirely too young to play Sylvanas (and too cute, Sylvanas should be sexy), and Taylor Swift isn't even an actor.

Might be some cast typing, but I think Kate Beckinsale would make a great Sylvanas. She's sexy, she's mature, and we already know from the Underworld movies that she can play a bad *** very well.

I think Mickey Rourke would make a good Garrosh. =x I can't really think of anyone to play Thrall though. He needs to be portrayed by someone who is beefy muscle wise, but who can also be intellectual and thoughtful. Probably because it's so early, but I can't think of any Hollywood actors who fit that description.

No. Heeeell no!

Not that I have anything against Emma as an actor, but she's way, way, WAY too young and inexperienced to play such a dark and morbid character.

Although... the thought of her in a leather outfit that covers nothing... Smiley: drool2

Arthas: Gerard Butler

Too old. I'd say Heath Ledger would be perfect, but the idiot went and killed himself.

Now we're getting somewhere...

Vereesa Windrunner: Taylor Swift

...or not. How the hell do you come up with these names?

Liam would probably make a pretty good Stormrage stature wise, but I think his voice is too young for it. Brad Pitt as Rhonin would be comedy gold. I'll pay extra if he is wearing a blue dress.

I'd hate to typecast actors, but I can see Orlando Bloom as either a night or blood elf hunter...

Chris Hemsworth for Arthas.

C huck Norris for Thrall ;D
(Ok trolling done)

Sylvanas Windrunner: Angelina Jolie (Would probably be 2nd choice) or Kate Beckinsale

Arthas would be tough considering he'd have to do a complete 180 on his personality. From kind and benevolent to twisted and corrupt by the end. Maybe Tom Cruise could get this role.

Vereesa Windrunner should never be played by Taylor Swift...ever...

Malfurion Stormrage should be played by none other than the great Morgan Freeman (if not just as a voice actor)

Since it's past my bedtime and I'm only writing this as a last thing to get done before bed, yes.

Well the obvious answer would be Ozzy Osbourne. Though with how difficult he is to understand that might not be a good idea.

For Sylvanas Windrunner, Melinda Clark (Julie Cooper) from The OC and cameos on C.S.I. was my 1st thought..older but VERY sexy.

For some reason I want to be a perfectionist in my choices so I'll pass for now but Liam Neeson and Russel Crowe are great.

Liam Neeson's voice does not sound too young for Malfurion. His voice is epic. I mean hell, if he can pull off Zeus, he can pull off a 6000 year old elf.

As much as I like Angelina Jolie, I'm not sure she'd make a good Sylvanas. I could be wrong though. I just think Kate would do a much better job. I think Angie looks too exotic to pull it off.

Raw, I'd agree with you that Taylor looks a bit like an elf, but that doesn't mean she can act. Granted I don't know much about Vereesa's character, but I still have my doubts that she'd be able to pull that off.

My first thought for Jaina is Gwyneth Paltrow, but I don't feel great about that idea. Gwen is awesome, but I dunno... Again, not that many blonde actresses in Hollywood who are intelligent. Maybe Edward Norton for Thrall, with lots and lots of make up. He's got too much of a baby face to do Thrall otherwise.

True, I just watched Taken again to see if I remembered correctly and I didn't. His voice has matured since his earlier days.

They don't have to BE the character they're portraying, Pigtails... it's called acting. Smiley: tongue

Appearance won't matter when it comes to the orcs, tauren and all that. I'm certain they'll use CGI for those characters. CGI has reached a level of realism where it'd probably be cheaper and easier than putting some body double in a giant suit and applying hours of makeup.

Maybe Michael Clarke Duncan for Thrall or Garrosh. He can play good and bad characters well.

Edited for spelling.

If Phil Fondacaro isn't Magni Bronzebeard, I wouldn't even think about thinking of seeing the movie.

I know it's acting Maz, but most people aren't capable of acting intelligent if they aren't already. Also, some of the best actors at playing ditzes are actually very intelligent themselves. Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe of Friends) is a great example of this. Nicole Kidman would make a great Jaina, but she might be a bit too old now. =/ Jaina is supposed to be in her late 20's by now, right? Nicole is in her early 40's, so that might be a bit of a stretch.

MCD would definitely make a great Thrall. I love that idea!
