WarcraftMovies: TheFirelandsFollow

#1 Aug 26 2011 at 4:37 PM Rating: Decent
Little over a month of work, multiple fraps point of views, and 500gigs later, "Frequent Excellence vs. The Firelands"mixes normal boss kill video povs with Machinima and Music Video style editing.

My name is Adam Knych, and I am a film student going for my Bachelors in Fine Arts in Film at Full Sail University.

Taking inspiration from amazing past works, notably, the Curse-BWL video, I wanted to try and show The Firelands to more than just WoW players using different editing styles, jokes, comic timing and social elements that are around in our society today. =]

More information can be found on my WCM page:
BayTLM on Warcraft Movies: Frequent Excellence vs. The Firelands.

This is not a recruitment video for our guild, but merely a test to become a better editor and director. Please post in the comments here or on the WCM page with any suggestions or feedback you may have! Thanks!

Thumbs up for the musical score. Always nice to see some Skrillex, The Fountain OST and Mass Effect music in the same video. Smiley: grin

Thanks Mazra! It is a slightly weird assortment of music, I've been told, but it's funny how well it all fits together. If I told someone the music by name without the video, I'd probably get looked at funny. =]

I liked it! There's nothing I could suggest other than to keep sticking with it and that will make ya an even more better editor and director. Well done!

Awww, Seculartwo, thanks!
I've rewatched it so many times and I can easily see how I learned more tricks throughout the movie. It was definitely a learning experience. =]
