Someone posted a quote from Blizzard that caused me much giddiness. I thought it was a very nice subtle tidbit. The important part is bolded.

Quote:
No, no, no, Clem. The Darkmoon Faire isn’t what it used to be and it isn’t where it used to be. The management hasn’t changed but the Faire certainly has. It’s a whole new animal. Tickets? You don’t need those old tickets, just rip ‘em right up, ‘cause we’ve got new tickets! Out with the old, in with the new -- new quests, that is! Things have changed ‘round here: we’ve got an island all to ourselves now, and what an island it is. Mist-shrouded Darkmoon Island is a conundrum wrapped in an enigma. It’s a place of mystery and wonder, and you wouldn’t believe the deals we made to get it… or who we made ‘em with. But never mind that, just follow me right through here and I’ll show you what the Darkmoon Faire is all about.

Here is the link-- it looks pretty cool, and the skill points to professions could be a really nice perk...

Nice for those who cleaned out their banks.

Curious choice of words from Blizz, I'm interested to see if it amounts to anything related to the speculated next expansion.

Next expansion? Personally doubt that.

I'm surprised that you guys haven't connected the Darkmoon mini games to Blizz's desire to get into portable gaming (iPhone, et al). Seems obvious to me that this is a lead-in to getting these games onto phones, no? Perfectly logical first step into the medium with a flexible and fun lore connection.

Still wish there were a fishing game for the iPhone that granted in-game feast mats. Perhaps with a Kalu'ak theme. "May your nets always be full." for real. I'd buy that for a dollar! =)

They may not sell it there, since they'll be selling it here:

Okay, so, for clarification's sake, they'll be sold in Acherus, but, like most of its denizens, the vendor doesn't like non-DKs.
