Another weekend seemed to slip by in half the time it should have. I'm a huge proponent of going to 8 day weeks with 5 work days and 3 days off. Who's with me?!?!?

Anyway, how did yuo guys do on your goals?

I got my Cataclysm Loremaster on my priest and startd into the TB and molten Front dailies. I also compelted my first heroic ZA run and even got a new helm...err, collar...whatever you want to call it.

On the real life side of things, I made a gigantic pot of red beans and rice yesterday for us to eat during the week and I cooked a roast, mashed potatoes, and glazed carrots for dinner last night. Everything was delicious and i cannot wait to have the red beans tonight.

for the work week I'd prefer to work 4 and 3, keep the weeks as they are ;) So the current staffing level works they can look at making my 4 days be 10 hour shifts, I'd lose less time in the commute by not having to go in to work at all that one extra day a week.

WoW - I got some time in this weekend, completed Cataclysm loremaster unexpectedly (deepholm..sp?) didn't realize the other zone with 100 quests was daily quests to work on. Got started on the Firelands dailies. Now I just have to actually run some dungeons while wearing tabbards to get some more rep or at least go do dailies for the rep so I can ding exalted with them.

RL - cleaned up the house, was gone for about 3 weeks, came home and dumped everything plus extra stuff that I picked up out of storage in the living room. Got PISSED off when tripping over the stuff trying to can some jam and berries and did a big clean up yesterday, still some to be done, but the bookshelf has to wait until I can buy 2 more shelves for it to get it optimized.
Still need to find a source of angle-iron so I can custom make shelves that will HOLD stuff (pantry for dry goods storage) half the "shelves" available at retail are particle board and as soon as you put a 50lb bag of green coffee beans on them (what? they keep for 10 years while roasted lasts maybe 6 months) you can see them bowing under the load if not hear them creaking.

I'd so work 4 10-hour days if I could, but my job lends itself more towards 7 6-hour days, which isn't happening.

As for the goals, we made it to the beach, aquarium, and brewery this weekend so it was a good one. Brewery was a disappointment as there was a 40min wait to do anything, so we just left. Some old-car group in town and the place was packed.

WoW went well I didn't get to 68 on the Warrior, but she did manage to pick up the diplomat title, so all is well that ends well. Smiley: smile

I forgot to set goals on Friday.

We didn't raid again - not enough people. Losing four people hurt us a lot.
The server is so low pop on the Horde side that it's getting hard to find good people anymore. Of course, the worse it gets, the more people leave and so on. *sigh*

I finished off the Firelands dailies on my Paladin for the mount. He doesn't have the title but I'm not overly concerned with that right now. I did them most days on my main and some of my alts though.

I worked more on my little Warrior and stopped his experience at 28 this time. He's finished with Stonetalon and Arathi so next he will do Northern Stranglethorn. I'm really enjoying this project.

I also worked on my 83 Rogue a bit and got her further through Vash'jir.

It was a pretty quiet weekend overall.

WOW: I got the druid to 57, but couldn't get the time free to make that final rush to Outland.

Edit: I just logged on and found support for just how distractingly annoying the weekend had been, it seems I just barely ticked over into 58 without realizing I'd done so.

RL: There are days when one seems to have been sentenced to death by 10,000 paper cuts. It was one of those weekends; no single annoyance was particularly great, it was simply that there were far too many of them.

Well, I've been playing around with new toons to see the new starting areas and having a lot of fun. The lore is so different from how i was raised since a wee tauren warrior was born. So much has changed since i left. Some good. Some bad. No QQ here though. I'm sure the nerfs and easy mode complaints have been fielded quite extensively over the past year. Maybe I'll start playing 81-85 Cata content on my boomchicken...next weekend.
