So does anyone know if there is one out there these days? My workplace blocked battle.net "because it is a known download site for spyware or adware." I thought there used to be 3rd party armory-like sites out there, but that the migration to the new armory caused problems or something. I'm not really remembering right now, and could just be making this up, but I swear I thought it was true, really.

So ya.

Anyone know anything?

If you're just wanting it to check out gear, www.askmrrobot.com can pull characters from the armory and show what they have equipped. I don't know of any site that will show all the other information that Armory does though, sorry.

www.WowProgress.com

Might work for you depending on what you are trying to look up. I was able to find my character on there even though its in an inactive guild.

I used to use be.imba.hu but apparently he has quit playing WoW so the site no longer is active.

Replacement site that I've used a bit is www.wow-heroes.com

Hope that helps.

Cheers!

Can't you just run the Armory via something like HideMyAss.com?

I'm thinking that using a proxy to view a banned website on a company computer wouldn't be popular.

IT dept.

They have admin privileges on all the computers. It's annoying.

But if they notice you using a proxy website, wouldn't they notice you using all the other websites as well? Like this one and stuff?

Yeah, they don't care about this one. They typically only block things that cause problems.
